Only complaint is the stupid sash. You can barely tell it's there, so why have it there at all?

Do the replicas have the "vents" on the side, or just the player-issue?

I believe just the authentics have the vents, but I haven't seen my replica yet so I'm not sure

I really hate your team, :cautious: but I have to admit... this kit looks very nice..

Who gives a hoot if it looks like Waldo's uni, it is pretty unique, at least in CONCACAF.

White shirt, blue shorts and a bit narrower sash ... then keep it so we can build a history with it.

Eh... I think most people want a design with some meaning behind it. White shirt with a sash doesn't really scream "America" in any way.

Just my opinion. But I like the flag inspiration.

  11. I'm starting to feel like the University of Oregon will have a consistent uniform before the USMNT does ...

They sure have an identity which is apparently what everyone here wants. Even though we clearly have one.

What is Oregon's identity? Not even its own players can say what their identity is. And if you asked random people what the U.S. jersey identity is, most of them won't be able to give you one either.

It's the "nonidentity" identity (otherwise known as not having an identity)! Kind of like the US has such a strong "nonspecific" identity (we have an identity, but it's easily recognizable as "England").

You can't mistake what Oregon wears for anyone else. Feel free to try.

By whom? Who actually thinks we look like England when they're watching a match? People watching on very pixelated screens?

Anybody that thinks Oregon hasnt built an identity with their uniforms is nuts. They have such a strong uniform brand identity that they were just mentioned on a US soccer thread and almost everybody knew what was meant when they were mentioned.

New shirt on Terrence Boyd, he isn't wearing the full kit though. The pants he has on are warmups.

Love it. Definitely recognizable. Wouldn't mind the USA sticking with this from here on out (doubt they do, though).

I love the kit. 13 stripes from top to bottom. Its instantly recognizable. The USSF should stick with this design. IMO, it's the best design they have come up with yet.

Changing the away kit every 2 years is okay with me, but I think this home kit should be a mainstay.

I really like this look, but if we stick with it, there are 3 key changes needed:

    1. Get rid of the ghost sash.

    2. Make the red a very slightly darker shade.

    3. Make the socks red and white hooped for continuity.

The initial shock of something so different has worn off and I have to say this is a great looking kit.
