Re: New USA Kits This strand is so far off topic that reads like a Penn State Essay. Why don't we try something like this with a sash:
Re: New USA Kits I agree, but if you take away 3-4 stripes and leave a solid color....It would look much better. When I was 12, my aunt brought me a jersey like that back from Germany and it looked pretty cool. I wish I could find a picture.
Re: New USA Kits This is just an awesome pic. Looks like the guy just got off of work, threw his uniform on ready to hit the pitch.
Re: New USA Kits I'm interested in the red phone box Tardis-thing behind him. I was unaware we had those in this country.. especially on a suburban-looking street.
Re: New USA Kits There's a difference between showing support for your team, and looking like you're leading the Macy's Day Parade.
Re: New USA Kits Lol, that's awful. The white sash is OK, the others are terrible. IMO we can do better
Re: New USA Kits Seriously though how about something like this for a one time event: Just make darker camo and replace the Everton badge with the USS Badge.
Re: New USA Kits I'm really not into mixing militaristic imagery with US sports. One of my pet peeves. Timmy looks like he should be at a paintball range when he wears that shirt.
Re: New USA Kits First off good editing skills...If you took out two vertical stripes across and through out the pattern...Changed it to Navy Blue... Made a black 3rd Jersey...I bet people would like it more. It looks busy but like I said I had it that jersey when I was little kid and it looks better without as many stripes.
Re: New USA Kits You might not want to slam a highly respected university with grammar like that. It makes you look kind of dumb.
Re: New USA Kits Instead of a slash, I'd rather see a single, thick white line through the heart side of the jersey. Dark red main color. Blue shorts. I also think we should mimic Celtic's "hoop" style jersey. We are defined by the strips on our flag. Or we could always mimic the old Croatian jerseys. Instead of a checkered pattern under the armpits, we could do dark blue with white stars, and keep a solid dark red color for the rest of the shirt.
Re: New USA Kits I like these ideas. It can be the same look and feel every year while also allowing for it to be changed a bit.
Re: New USA Kits I liked the blue jersey with the white sash but im not a big fan of the all white ghost sash or the red with blue sash.
