There is a whole selection of BSFC gear now available on the team store website. The sweatshirt looks nice.

To me, the Bimbo in white would make more sense. Is ok. I don't love it, don't hate it. its just blah. As someone who went to high school in bethlehem and lived in the south side. the nod to bethlehem steel is nice. too bad the B is all the way down on the corner.

At first I was meh, but its growing on me. If I can fit in one, ill get one.

Would really like a B&W Union scarf, though.

I don't like that they're wearing these on Saturday. Home opener, first game of the season, gotta go with your primary.

It looks nice... but it doesn't look like the Union.

    I hope its used sparingly.

Like the white alternates against Vancouver in 2011?

I agree, but I'm assuming KC having blue in both jerseys made sense for the Union to go with the black...

I might be in the minority, but I hope they wear this kit a lot. The full kit is really sharp and classy looking. It's the best kit the club has had IMO.

    $120 a pop says you're wrong.

It was hilarious singing 'Come on you boys in blue... er... white'

Except that they have already said they will be wearing them.

And, actually, it makes sense to wear them this week. Sporting KC is one of the teams (along with Montreal) where the black third will be a better contrast to their primary jersey compared to the Union primary/secondary. So, KC can wear their typical light blue and Philly will be in black/white/black. I think it will look good.

I like them a lot, but I actually think that uniforms is one area where Union has always excelled. The original gold secondary ended up a bust, though was nice in principle. The white tertiary was fairly unremarkable. But both of the primaries and the light blue secondary, in addition to this black tertiary, are all quite good IMHO.

Actually, the team really has done well in branding in general. Player acquisition and quality of play, not so much.

It's not perfect photoshop wise, but if they made the jersey like this I'd say it'd be perfect.

I love the old adidas logo but I actually prefer the Bimbo logo being Red. Otherwise it's just too much white.

I'm trying to like it but I just can't. The colors, if you can call them that, are all wrong (looks like a DCU jersey). The crest is moved off-center. It honors an important part of Pennsylvania soccer history (BSFC) but one with no connection to the current team. On top of all that, it's just boring. Somehow they managed to make a black 3rd jersey even worse than the Eagles' black 3rd jersey.

I heard a rumor that US Adidas wanted to use the retro logo, but International Adidas overruled them on the issue.

I stand by the gold jersey as a nice uniform... they just didn't pair them with the blue shorts often enough! (same with the White Jersey and Blue shorts)

This is miles better than those white cookie-cutter POS shirts. Solid stuff.

I think you're right. Bumpy Pitch stuck an "F.C." onto a Bethlehem Steel logo. However, the earliest use I've ever seen of that logo by the Bethlehem Steel Corp. is a picture from 1938, eight years after the soccer team was disbanded. I'm also puzzled by the 1911, since Bethlehem played its first game on Nov. 17, 1907.

I do like the B on the front, however. And I love the general idea of paying homage to the Bethlehem Steel team.
