Disclosure - I took that first pic. The meeting was great - a few dozen soccer fans all gathered to demonstrate an interest in a club that doesn't even have a crest, colors or a single player. We're drawing from fans of all sorts of other teams. Most are like me, having had little interest in MLS without a club representing the city. Now we're starting to gather steam. No group name yet, though. Suggestions are more than welcome.
Hey Onionsack, I'm glad you could join the thread to rain on the parade. I wasn't there to determine the number of people who were at the bar for the event. However I think I can help you with your confusion about which city the team represents. If you look at the name, New York City FC, you might be able to make out the two words immediately preceding the word city. They say New York, just in case you were confused about what I was referring to. So, taking the big step (watch the gap) of using the name to infer which city the team represents, we come to New York City! I'm happy we could take this journey together Onionsack.

If I was a New York Judge. Id say everyone's wrong. You were all in a BAR. And depending on your level on intoxication numbers may vary.
Looking at he photos, I'd say they drew similar numbers that the first few ESC and BB's meetings drew.
I think we ought to mention that the supporters group finally got its name thru a voting process where the Third Rail came out on top.
How big are these guys? How many supporters you guys have so far? Just want to see you guys come up and be better than the jersey red bulls...
