I would make it following - BL I with sub-forums for BL teams (simply like a book, in library)..so you have system how to find this or that team....because they can be other people who maybe don´t post but are interested for information about the team...BL I is one of the best league..and I´m sure that many people (not just that who post here) are interested in infos about the teams. BL II - with sub-forums for their teams (here can be teams selected, the most important, maybe that are most popular or were in BL I before etc. - or other selection rule) and of course GERMAN NT forum
We are not making sub-forums for each team. We would need about 5 more mods for that. And I don't need another 1000 thread subscriptions. About BL2 teams...the numbers keep dropping off. With the exception of TSV and the general BL2 thread, I just don't see the action at the moment.
well it does not have to be for every team..and I don´t think the number of post would increase and additional mods would be needed - it is only about organizing..so it is easier to find infos about teams..nothing else... maybe as you mentioned: Sub-Forum BL I would be good and with the teams for sub-forums as we already have...but the sub-titel BL I would be already fine....then you can simply put there existing sub-forums for BL I teams that we already have...it is just to create one special sub-forum for BLI....it will be easier to find infos then just simply instead of GERMANY to make additional sub-forum BL I.
I think you need to take a look at the French forum. http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=1272 See how they put all the teams that do not have their own sub-forum into the Club forum. That's all we would do: put the clubs in the club forum.
Thanks BP. As I said above, we can start this slowly...maybe moving over a few teams at a time and hold off a bit on BL2 & lower teams.

What about splitting up the clubs into a "1. Bundesliga" section and a "2. Bundesliga" section? And maybe putting all prediction threads together in an own section? Would be clearer in my eyes...
Don't know...there are not enough BL2 club threads I think. At the same time, the Germany forum is a good place for the prediction threads IMO. I think it's pretty clear the way it is. New sub-forums would only make sense if there are enough threads to fill them, which right now there aren't.
I think you hit the nail right on the head. I would love to get a BL2 & lower sub-forum, but there is just not enough traffic to warrant it. And now, that the Clubs are all together, I think that might alleviate some of the issues people were having. Heck, I wish every team had their own sub-forum, but that will probably not happen for a while.
It would be good for bigsoccer, but would somehow destroy the atmosphere we have here I think if people post more on their own teams' forums. One thing I like here is that fans from different teams come together (that's also why I don't see Bigsoccer as a competitor of the official Hanover 96 forum)
wow...you deserved Bigsoccer Nobel prize for these words....well said..more sub-forums would destroy nice atmosphere we have here....yeah...that´s also true.. so we should keep things as they are we have good moderators....great community here...and great forum i´m happy with it.
