We have tried this one before, but would people support a BL2 (and lower divisions) sub-forum? OR, does anybody have any other ideas about a possible sub-forum. We are getting a lot of traffic and I wonder if that would alleviate some of it. Any thoughts?
Well I propose a sub-forum for the 2.Bundesliga and one for the Regionalliga sides. We have to find a way to clean it up a bit.
Maybe a subforum (1) for the 2. Bundesliga AND all the other lower leagues. Rom wurde nicht an einem Tag erbaut!
My proposal: Germany >NSR >National Team >Bundesliga >>Bayern München >>Borussia Dortmund >>Werder Bremen >Lower Leagues
I don't think we need yet another sub-forum. Except for the NSR I only see the threads on those other boards when they appear in the last post column anyway.
I disagree. We have quite a few BL2 threads and as threads keep getting buried, people tend to create more redundent threads. Pain in the ass for the mods.
Well, if it helps you moderating I'm all for trying it if enough people want it. I can't really vote for it as I'm sure I'll almost never look onto the board once it's split, just like I do with Bremen/Bayern/Dortmund/National team.
I don't hit the Dortmund threads because I'm on Footy's dortmund mailing list. I don't hit Bayern because, I don't really like them. I don't hit Bremen's well I will hit Bremen's, but not just yet. NSR - I visit that one. National team: I visit that one more during international weeks. Now if we had a 2b forum or Regionalliga and lower, I'd hit those every day. I might even start more threads. Thanks for trying Mods.
Well, I am interested that people feel like they won't go into a sub-forum. weird. You would think there would be more threads of interest. Oh well. All I know, is I have had to merge close to 10 threads in the last week. *grrrrr lazy butts.
I've recently found my prom ticket in my wallet. Together with some years old grocery bills. I thought that I should maybe start to sort things out.
I'm definitely in favor of better sorted forums. And I think people will soon appreciate it. After all, the sub-forums are just one click away...
Ahm...ok...If I ever run across your freedoms in one of the soon-to-be sub-forums, I'll tell you right away before THEY can get hold of them...
Come on, it's a perfect analogy... almost. "Just one camera in your bathroom... where's the problem if you have nothing to hide? what's that compared to the added security against terrorist attacks in your backyard anyway." "Just one click more to reach the sub-forum." And then soon there will be subforums in the subforums. Where will it end?
*adds to the paranoia Remember the sexy bar maid who you bumped into last week? She put a tracer bug on you.
Since it's hard to sleep your way up to the top on the internets thing, I have to try to do some bootlicking (*please pay me BigSoccer*).
this is funny...please pay me Bigsoccer.. maybe DF can pay you....he is the boss here so benztown...you are also mystery....are you from Germany or from USA?...hm...?.. hm...
maybe not really precise on topic but there is something i allways wanted to know... why are there only sub-forums for Bayern, Dortmund and Bremen? i mean if ya look into english or italian forums half of the leagues teams got sub forums. there are so many interresting and successful german teams (Schalke, Stuttgart, Nürnberg, Hertha, etc...) don't they deserve a sub-forum as well? Okay each of them has got an own thread but isn't this just confusing? Okay probably this is because of traffic limits or something but i would be pleased if someone tells me about the reasons. thanks
I also think that is is a bit discriminating that another big teams does not have own sub-forums....I understand why Bayern Munich has own sub-forum (many fans abroad, big traffic here and interest)...but why not another teams?...Stuttgart, Leverkusen, Schalke, ?...why not?
