@appleCORR7 - Do you remember when Nike did the same thing at the end of the Vapor IV's lifespan?

It seemed like every two weeks we'd get a new colourway; I seem to remember the Charcoal, Berry and Lime Vapors landed in very quick succession! I don't think it was as fast as this though.

You are right, i remember that the berry vapors were out around Christmas time and then i think they released the other 2 in the February.

I just dont see how Adidas can justify releasing 5 colourways in 3 months!

I take it that the blue/red release are just for Messi as i havent seen anyone else wearing that colourway which seems a bit strange and i suppose that could justify the 3 colours if one is a special 'messi boot'.

The thing that annoyes me is, people pay a lot of money for their boots these days and although the style is in date (ie adizero 3) the colourway isnt. Its such ashame that some people will of had boots for 2 months and they are already 'out of date'. I thought that boot companies had stopped being so greedy being as Nike had dropped the stupidly priced Elite/Superfly range for its next boot and Adidas seem to have dropped the primes.

I know its all about the ££££ these days, but i just remember a time (im old) when you could have a pair of boots and KNOW that they'd be current for at least 6 months before another one or 2 colourways were released. Now its just a matter of weeks before a new colour comes out.

I think you can see how stupid its got when PDS are selling brand new released boots an already reduced price, they must be thinking how the hell they are going to shift all the stock because nobody is going to want to buy an old colourway for a high price.

Sorry for the rant it just annoyes me and i dont think its very fair!!!

    Sorry for the double post.

Is this the adizero colourway that has been 'dropped'? if not does anyone have a release date for it? Its probably next week knowing Adidas!! :p

    spot on! applecorr7

the various colors of the present day boots are just like fashion!

good > when they are on offers, and they matches your team kit or it's your fav color

bad > when the one u are having is "out of date"

we may end up wearing 2 diff color! red on R, white on L, LOL!

for me, black based is still the BEST!

To me more colorways just means more options, we often complain about colorways and i guess this just means we're more likely to find one we like. Since they are just colorways and not brand new boots I don't think people would feel their boots are out of date unless they're really vain. For me the excitement of a new boot disappears after a few wears anyway so I don't care if they make a new colorway.

people actually care about their boots this much? i love that they make colours this quickly because it means boots go on sale much quicker, i always buy top end boots for under a $100. i could care less about the colour of my boots, i buy whats the best deal for the boots i like most playing wise.

Gotta admit they look fantastic. It'll be interesting to see if they're a hit, or if they're a mixed bag of reviews like previous lightweight heritage boots have been (Adipure SLs and Legend IV Elites). Really hoping Puma has got it right.

That Yellow/white F50 colourway is AWFUL!! And i dont see the point of the 'reverse' blue/red colourway, surely its too similar to the colourway due out soon?

agreed, I am weighing up which colour way to go for following returning my adipowers - having seen the reverse now, I will definitely go for the blue and red that is out this month!

If you're referring to the gold/white/black, I'll be shocked if those are released.

The blue/red version that only Messi seems to be wearing are out on the 15th February. I think its a bit strange that only Messi is wearing them because they are a great colourway, but i suppose it just gives adidas an excuse to release another colourway.
