Nike and the Dutch FA presented them to the press yesterday but no photos yet, apparently it's 'back to basics' with a collar and a warmer tone of orange. The away shirt has a red white and blue diagonal stripe like we apparently also had in the 1950s. If anyone can find a link to photos, it'd be much appreciated.
Better than the old one in any case. The collar of the home shirt will be grey (wonder if that means the shorts will also be grey), they're also going to use the original KNVB emblem.
I wonder if the away shirts look anything like the shirt Hugo Borst wore once to studio voetbal...I think it was this one. Sorry, couldnt find a good pic
Might be something like that, yes. I imagine the actual strip is similar to Twente's current 40-year anniversary away one.
They talked about it on Talpa last night, they said the home shirt is inspired by the 1956 home one, and the away by the 1906 away one. They should originals of those and they looked ab-so-lutely beautiful!!!! If the new shirts are anything remotely like those I'll be very pleased indeed.
here is a link of the talpa website. It has some more info about the shirt. Ps: there is also a smal video clip. pps: Its a dutch site.
You forgot the link http://www.talpa.tv/web/show/id=71813/contentid=44569/dbid=2150/typeofpage=51230 I can't actually see the photos myself.
the shirt looks exactly like the one posted here. Except a little shinier. I think it's cool actually. Two unique shirts, defining the Dutch identity - old and modern...
You can buy imitations of this shirt on the web from some website in Thailand. I'll post the URL when I know more
I don't like the looks of it. Looks too much like them rugby tops that are worn by university kakwijven.
