Those prices are absolutely ludicrous. The 10 and under free part is cool though.

It's a friendly for a team without a league trying to build a following playing the second string from a team in Guatemala. $5-10 tix do that way better than $15-25 ones I'd think.

First, they are playing Municipals first team. That article is bs. I called Municipal and sent an email to them and they confirmed it. I even contacted the match agent and he confirmed that it was in the contract that they would play there A team.

Well that is something at least. Still think the tix are too high all things considered. Hopefully it takes off, they develop a solid following and change that absurdly ridiculous name.

Odd that the graphic says "Veteran's War Memorial (Hartford, CT)" ...seeing as, well, New Britain isn't in Hartford. When this actually happens I'll believe it. This team is so odd.

And Stuart Taylor resigned with Reading. Mahamadou Diarra is in London.

Municipal has a note on their website listing the players that will be leading their team in Connecticut, including former Crew midfielder Mario Rodriguez....also notes that their national team players will stay behind for national team training.

The Force are claiming that they're playing in the NASL next year:

The ticket link for the Municipal match now gives the date as October 2nd. Twitter indicates possible visa problems.

This is mostly my ignorance of concacaf leagues, but is getting Municipal for a friendly all that impressive? It seems they're pretty much the cream of the crop in Guatemala, how would they compare to a typical MLS team? better/worse/hold their ownish?

They always announce games and postpone them

This organisation is full of sh t, they claim they still have Emile MPenza

´´Birham Diop and the New England Force have reached an agreement that will have the former Sporting striker joining Irvin Herrera and Emile Mpenza as the go to players for the Force Midfielders. Diop from Senegal brings a wealth of talent and experience to the new England Force team.´´

but Emile is back in Belgium negociating with KV Ostend

Emile Mpenza sprak al met KVO - Sportwereld - Het Nieuwsblad

No idea, but a few weeks ago they had the nerves to announce a friendly game against Valencia CF, a game that was never played of course

I wouldn't trust those guys, but that's just me of course ;)

If you gave money to this team I would kiss it goodbye. Of course you can attempt to get a refund but I'd highly doubt you'd get anything. It's a total scam.

    Things to Google:
    Jon Langer
    Austin Posse

Someone needs to expose them and save these poor young players from being duped.

Maybe he has a good lawyer.
