you don't know about white shame? any time I read a history article/book/text/etc about time pre 1960 (and after, but particularity those) I get it real bad
I'll never feel guilty for being white. Not for even one moment. Allowing yourself to be ashamed of something you had no part of is in itself shameful.
Man, this thread derailed pretty quickly, and I had not part in derailing it. Makes me feel pretty good. Maybe I'll make a chant about it...
Okay, it's not great, but how about something like: Get up! Everybody's gonna move their feet Get up! Everybody's gonna leave their seat We're gonna score again in Salt Lake - Goal City!
...and again and again and again and again (depending on how many wives you have). ...jk. I like it, but to what tune is this? Also, unless you have a connection with a trendy punk rock band, your chant will most likely fall on def ears. I dig what Steineckert has done so far but I fear if he doesn't stamp it with his seal of approval it'll probably get squashed. Perhaps I'm wrong on that. I have an appreciation for some Mormon hymns because I was once LDS. We are as the army of RSL We have been taught in our youth. And we will be the Club's missionaries To bring the world its truth. This seems like a lot of the chants that I heard in our section at MLS Cup '09. Some were creative, but threw in lots of needless F-bombs. The most creative was sung to the tune of "O Christmas Tree", and was about Donovan wanting to be like Beckham.
The benefit of that chant is the FO wouldn't pump it through the speakers all game long. BTW, I made words to that whole song I just didn't want to re-edit the swear words.
The Findley/Offensive sub chant Hey, you just came on And this is crazy But we need a goal So score one, maybe?!
