FWIW, in 2013 the Dynamo carried over supporters ticket pricing from 2012. Not sure whether the supporters section is sold out this year or not. I know we were working with the FO to keep some single game tickets available this year to SG members who couldn't afford/ didn't want to commit to season tickets. Not sure if that was successful though.
There were some pictures of it in another thread, but the Dallas Beer Guardians/Inferno beer garden section behind the north goal is expanding (looks like they added a 3rd bleacher).
http://affaires.lapresse.ca/economi...erne=cyberpresse_B13b_impact_693_section_POS2 One month away from the home opener on March 16th, the team has sold 7000 season tickets, going for $300-$1000 each.
A few months back RH said that sporting was at 96% of season tickets sold. The cap is at 16K, so that is roughly 14.5K.
Looks to be 15,200 in Portland http://portlandtribune.com/pt/11-features/128300-team-town-timbers-army
I know some groups have sold more than they had last year and the SGs and FO are trying to keep the tix out of the hands of resellers since that was a problem last year. Wouldn't surprise me to see it mostly sold out with a couple dozen or so held for single game sales.
" Scattered seats have been added to increase attendance" Anyone know how much this is? Is it in the low hundreds or under a hundred new seats?
The actual number is 15,250, as announced by the Timbers last December: http://www.portlandtimbers.com/news...-tickets-club-reaches-96-percent-renewal-rate That's the first I've heard of it. I would guess that they tried to up it to ~20,500, but maybe higher. They added 500 season tickets from last year, but I would expect that they aren't adding that many new seats.
Just heard that RBNY is up to around 8,700 with 2,100 new season ticket signups this offseason. Apparently we're running neck and neck with Sporting KC for most new signups.
The number was 3561 if memory serves and I don't think that number needed to be confirmed since it was pretty clear when they mailed out the season ticket holder spreadsheet to the season ticket holders
I believe some sections already have a waiting list. The Shield Club has had a waiting list since the first season, the suites have a waiting list and the Member's Club had a waiting list. I am betting the majority of those tickets if there are any left are in the East Stand. A good chunk of the West Stand is company season tickets and the South Stand is cheap enough that I imagine they are mostly sold if not all gone too. I would be curious to know what the real number is and how many people are on the waiting list for each section. Maybe we can build a wait list like the Packers do. I am on the Packers wait list and I will be in the mid-50s when I get tickets which is over 20 years away.
The job that KC has done never ceases to impress me. Every time it sinks in just how good that organization has become... they turn around and do something even more impressive.
No kidding. Can we please clone their ownership group and disperse them to a few other franchises that will go nameless?
