Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. Maybe time for a poll, but I think that most would support a Space City Blue 2nd or 3rd Kit. If I had my way, we'd dump the white for SC Blue. Plenty of Orange in both, but something to wear when we can't wear orange. 3rd would be Raven Black. And it would be for an occasional night game, maybe CCL or other special circumstances.

Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. what a ridiculous statement. i know a couple astronauts who would punch you in the face if they heard you say that houston isn't "space city"... btw, i'm not boasting that i have friends who are astronauts. it's precisely the opposite. in houston, astronauts are friends and neighbors, fellow churchgoers and pto members... among other reasons, houston is "space city" because ALL american astronauts and several international astronauts live and train here year round. it was a slap in the face that we didn't get a retired shuttle, but we're still "space city".

Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. i'll stay away from political statements/arguments here... my response was simply directed at the statement that we are no longer "space city" because we don't have a retired shuttle. oh, and the space program is FAR from closed down... slowed down would be a more accurate statement.
Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. Bush Jr. discontinued use of the Space Shuttle. Obama discontinued the Space Shuttle entirely before NASA could put together a new rocket. We gotta wait until 2020 or something and rely on the Russians until then.

Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. Here's a thought: We all know and have seen how much the Dynamo have been in love with "Triangles" lately. (relating to the stadium exterior) I've seen triangles everywhere, in the VIP Club Renderings, on flyers, in commercials, heck are they on the website layout at this point?!? See what I'm getting at? Could our 3rd Kit also feature this Triangle pattern as well?!? It does coincide with the new stadiums opening....

As long as Johnson Space Center is still in Houston, the city of Houston will continue to be known as "Space City". Period. End of story.
