Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. I would love to have the black jersey. They've been incorporating that color since the team's inception, fans and their signs and flags included. I still remember the fist white jerseys that had a whole lot of black on them as well. Let the oilers keep their colors. Let the Texans and Rockets have theirs. I prefer our colors to be associated with a winning championship team. The past can stay where it belongs.

Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. + 1 Being that the majority of our crest is black, Raven Black to be exact, Canetti blatantly declaring its not gonna be black is not looking at the stands for what color combos have existed with us fans since when Waibel was a consistent starter here.

In my mind the Orange has always represented our passion and rowdiness when it comes to this team, the black only cements our badassedness when we come out on to the field. It just looks intimidating. Hell if we had one when Oduro was here it'd would've looked like a set of eyes and teeth headed towards the goal like a train or a car coming at night.

It doesn't seem like we need a 3rd one next year since we won't be playing internationally next season either, or is that still a possibility? I would rather spend my $$ on a long sleeve jersey, they still haven't come out with that, have they?
Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. I agreed with this and with Rey-why now? We are going to to play in a legit outside competition probably once next year (one USOC match). Release a 3rd jersey if you are actually going to use a reasonable amount of time. We should have had one a few years back.

Add a couple little city specific things like other have said here. the coolest 3rd jersey this league has ever seen, hands down, was that Chicago Space City Blue 3rd, that they were all of two times. But damn that was a cool jersey.
Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. Ahum: We still have a shot at CCL for 2012-2013. We don't need to go into probabilities, but we were not out yet. If we get into the Eastern Conference bracket -- I would think we have as good a chance as anyone to go to the final and into CCL.
Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. not only that. CONCACAF doesn't have restrictions on # of sponsors. IF we make CONCACHAMPIONS you could have the 3rd jersey with Greenstar in the middle as usual and sell a sleeve or a shirt back to Corona, Cemex, Bimbo. unless Greenstar is arranging recycling contracts with the Panamanian government they should be made to understood that a back sponsor doesn't diminish their $, but helps the club attain more $$$ (and hopefully what comes with that). ^^^ you can have that one (idea) for free Mr. Canetti.
Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. I'm probably in the minority, but I actually prefer the "space city" blue. Though Chicago have done it before. Perhaps they could throw an orange swirl on it. But maybe it isn't a good thing to have such an association with the Houston Oilers.
Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. Great Idea!! They really should let the fans be more involved in this process... It seems that the most popular color would be the black jersey, but whichever color is chosen with this type of process I'm sure the fans would be happy that we had the final say. Someone should write a letter to C.C., but I fear that it might be too late for this and a decision has been reached.
Re: New 3rd Jersey coming next season. I hope it is Space City Blue as well. Blue shirt, black shorts, blue socks. I also agree, we need somemore details on the jerseys. I would like to see an outline of Texas with a star on the Houston on the back under the neck. Maybe even space city written in the collar or satelites orbiting the Texas or Dynamo logo (ala HPD). I hope we get a few more personal touches like the Portland jerseys.
