I hope it's something that grows on me, because as is it looks pathetic and uninspired. Funny, when you watch the video, the blue actually looks much darker.

Yes. Now seeing the video again the mls gear photo is the culprit. What a shame they published such a misrepresentation of the actual colors.

Is the color any different from last year? To me, this shirt is just as blah as last year's. Having it so similar makes it even more disappointing.

What color is that? It's not Galaxy blue, is it? Is it supposed to be green/turquoise like a throwback?

It's rather bland.

Definitely in upgrade vs the last version of the 2nd kit, which looked like LAG pajamas...I'm digging all of the little details though.

First off. Shame on MLS gear for posting such a poopy photo with no color correction. What a disservice to the team and the merchandise sales. The "quasar" as a gloss on matte look is a nice subtlety. I wish they would have knocked back the "This is LA" a tiny bit though. The contrast is too harsh for my eyes.

Where is the MLS Scudetto badge? Shouldn't it have 3 stars with the badge on the right side?

It's been reduced to the gold star only this year, apparently.

Look on the bright side, they got rid of the scudetto.

How far we’ve come. 7-8 years ago this would have blown our minds. Agree on the stars it screams “management decision” I actually think we should just go for the Manchester United/Real Madrid model … we’ve got too many championships to put on our kit

Okay, that looks a little better although the sash seems unnecessary but whatever.

In Italy, the star signifies ten titles. Manchester City have three stars for decorative purposes. Thanks to Sheik Mansour, we can no longer make the joke that it's one star for each decade without a trophy.

I really like the new jersey, sorry. I hated the sash and was hoping for something simple this season, and it seems I got it.

Seeing the colors on a different monitor has caused me to warm to it a little.
