This is supposedly the new home kit, obviously the shirt sponsor is an old one from before the Virgin Money deal went through for Northern Rock. As you may have noticed there are random spikey bits on the stripes and the club shop "art" has incorporated these recently, as can be seen below:
Hate the iron-on patch. Really dig the away kit though. Will reserve judgment until they officially release the home kit.
Its the "mask the graphics with tape, spray paint and peel away" process to give it a more interesting "edgier" look. Looks like the Sublimation Press Operator didint smooth out the wrinkles before they pressed the graphics on. If it is true I dont mind it mostly white, psuedo collar and all...
