It is sad some of the most passionate fans in MLS will not find one under the tree this Christmas morning. Always seem to be a day late and a dollar short in this department. Hate to see the competition get a head start on us every year.
2012 Jersey? We are do for a new jersey design this year, every two years we get new jersey. Are they holding off because of a possible sponsor that's going on the jersey. I hope that they will get Addidas to make the Chicago flag jersey as there secondary jersey (Puma's Chicago flag jersey in 2005 was the best jersey the league has ever had). This might be asking for too much but, how about a third jersey. If we do get a new jersey, Chicago flag, or third jersey they won't be out in time for Christmas (that sucks).
Re: 2012 Jersey? Would be nice to have it out at this time of year. Would probably sell quite a few during the holidays and maybe get a little excitement generated during the cold months as well. Need a Vulcan in the Front Office, a little logic never hurts.

Re: 2012 Jersey? Hasn't pretty much everyone else already unveiled their new uniforms? All I'm really hoping for is the stripe to return to the white jersey. I've pretty much accepted by now that we're not going to see a return of the flag jersey or some other non-white road uniform (at least for the forseeable future). Last year's home uniform is the best we've had since 2003 IMO, so I don't want to see any radical changes there.

Re: 2012 Jersey? Maybe...I can't quite remember either. I think they were burned that we didn't want their Chicago Rhythm name, so they sort of dragged their feet on releasing jerseys for sale. I don't think any Nike gear was available in 1998. I believe the only Nike thing I had that year was the MLS Cup champions t-shirt.

Re: 2012 Jersey? I'm sure they will keep "Quaker" within the white band and the guy's head will be to the left of the Q. So nice to have a sponsor back. And a local company to boot! Goes well with a health and fitness theme. I assume the new jerseys will be revealed soon with this formal announcement.
