It looks like the two best clubs in MLS, SJ and KC, get unexpected exits in the postseason. Also, we could have two wild-card teams in the MLS Cup Final.
Doesn't this statement depend on how you define "best club." Certainly the two teams that won the most points are out. Whether those teams are the best depends solely on what criteria you establish. Seems the league has established criteria that does not put much weight on where you finish in the regular season total.
Honestly the only top thing I saw from each was one had the top defense while the other had the top offense throughout the season... outside of that I wouldn't necessarily call them top clubs considering they got out coached by "lower" seeded teams and it showed they just couldn't adjust... Also I would like to face DC personally since we do have that record of them never winning in Houston.
I agree on the hipster snob douchebags but I don't want any part of our guys playing a Cup Final on carpet! IMO that is one of the biggest home field advantages that the turf field teams have! It's an entirely different game on turf.
If Buck Shaw couldn't host MLS Cup, then neither should that crap field in Seattle. Play the game on grass. The way it is supposed to be played.

As much as I would like to see a LA rematch, watch our for RSL. This is their final hurrah and they know it. They are going to be dangerous and I expect them to get to the Cup.
NY @ DC, Take 2. This game is destined to have Cahill in a fight and Hamid being called upon for that one epic save to advance his team (be it during game or PKs)....oh lord if I were a DC, I'd be nervous as hell about that prospect....
Wow....what a PK sequence....DC still in it! Go Mark! EDIT: And now Rafa does what Rafa does best....get red carded. 10 v 10!
NYR v DCU is a dream! We've gotten a red card on each team. I want one more on each team and then AET and PKs .... I want the winner completely tired and shorthanded.
