For a midweek game in a city where transportation may be iffy, at best? Yeah....way to throw DC fans a bone, MLS.
I really want LA if the Dynamo should be fortunate enough to make the finals. However, seeing them flame out in the Wild Card round... hmm...
Right as I'm thinking, "it's falling apart for Vancouver", Arlo White says it. It's true. Can't stand LA, but I've got a lot of respect for Magee. That guy can do it all.
I'm confused. I'm a company man (I like the fact that AEG owns us and leaves us the "F" alone) - but I do not like the Golden Trio of Becks, Landy Cakes, and that Irish Bloke, just watching them walk off together at halftime with their 13 million dollar salary P'd me off. I wanted Vancouver to win - but truly LA had the talent and showed it. With luck - the previous incarnation of the Dynamo will kick their a$$3es and we will meet the team that has our two other stars in the final.
Pretty tasty set of conference semi-finals. Every set has some rivalry aspects to it. Best final eight I can remember over the last seven years.

Nice to see the ref got the memo about making sure LA advances. Now Donnie G doesn't have to fire anyone.
The Seahawks almost scored on RSL, but fumbled it in the endzone. On a serious note, very good pace to this game, very good GKing and some nice tackles.
I have a man crush on Nick Rimando. I love watching that guy play. And I understand the Sounders are the greatest team ever to play the game, and the league gives them special consideration. but they really need to do something about the playoff games on turf stuff. That's just wrong.
RSL is getting the job done. Interesting to see SEA laying back playing for the counter. At home. This is a wonderful game. Engrossing. If this is how the Semi-finals go what week this will be!
Rimando catches an elbow in the face, is cut open, has a shiner coming up and the SEA fans are booing him for being down and getting treatment. Holy crap -- that is classless. That was clearly a bad colision.
Don - you beat me to it. ive always said Seattle fans boo at all the wrong times and in the end the ref accounted with the injury time with the 8 minutes of AET.
Hated the Sounders long before tonight. But this game reinforces my feelings. They're just losers. Whining, crying, intentionally fouling, astro-turf playing, snot colored uniform wearing, bits of female genitalia.
RSL aren't saints either. Morales and Espindola are especially nasty cheapshotters and fakers for skilled players (Espindola drew a foul in the first half by forearming a guy and simultaneously going down at midfield). Nick Rimando is the only player on that squad that I like. Send both teams' players back to the country of their origin
hahahahaha Flounders, a good start toward 0-4 all-time in playoff series, hard to believe after they invented soccer and soccer fan culture and all that...
