If these are the same announcers for Georgetown as the ones who traveled to UNC a few years ago, keep your volume low. They get REAL excited anytime Georgetown gets close to goal
BTW, in the dorm behind the goal Georgetown is defending, I hooked up with a hot Eastern European exchange student about 25 years ago. I thought you guys would want to know.
RT @LoboMensSoccer: GOAL LOBOS! Calderon's shot is saved by bounced to Devon who PUTS IT HOME! 1-0 Lobos in 32nd minute. #GoLobos #Sweet16
Yeah, I'm not complaining. The fact that they are available on the Internet is such a sign of progress. Plus if I'm not paying attention and something exciting happens, my computer starts to shake and then I go switch over and watch.
http://www.golobos.com/sports/m-soccer/sched/nm-m-soccer-sched.html Audio feed for UConn-NM is here, Lobos up 1-0.
Halftime in DC, 1-0. Hoyas finished strong and if they keep that same pressure up they should get an equalizer.
Definitely agree that I like their knowledge of Georgetown soccer. And I liked the color commentary guy immediately disagreeing with the PBP guy near the end of the half: PBP guy: "And Syracuse gives up a free kick in a spot that Newman is going to find attractive." Color commentator: "That's a horrible angle for Newman." Ha! Anyway, Syracuse doing a solid job defending and up 1-0 at the half, despite GU getting some momentum in the midfield for the final 10 minutes.
Halftime in Storrs, still 1-0 Lobos. UConn starting centerback Sergio Campbell left late in the first half with an injury, not sure about his return. Carlos Alvarez also missed a great chance to equalize from about 12 yards but shot it high.
RT @LoboMensSoccer: The two teams ripping off shots, seven total shots in first two minutes of second half. Lobos stillup 1-0. #GoLobos #Sweet16
HATE that decision from Neumann. Unpressured, 18 yards from goal, and all he does is tap the ball wide.
Sounds like a wild scene in Storrs early in the second half. I would be interested to hear what a neutral has to say about it. Listening to audio (UConn announcers), Mamadou Diouf knocked to ground in box, no call.....fast forward to Reid and UNM coach arguing on the field as they attended to "injured" players.
for those watching at home the stream just made it to HT. Audio - commentators saying Reid and Fishbein face to face
