I hate Kobe. I knew his two FG attempts in the first half were part of his cute "look at meeee, I'm MVPPPPPPPP!" 2nd half routine. Bastard.

I'm not worried about nothing though. Of course they would win the first game.

You'd rather see Tim "Oh, look at me, I'm a superstar but i'm still such a good teammate cause I do nothing else than make the same bland shot over and over and over" Duncan win it?

Believe me, I'm not proud of having to have rooted for the Jazz and the Spurs in the same postseason. The ultimate horror would have to be rooting for the Celtics in the Final, and to see them lose to the Lakers.

that's why it's a little more fulfilling in life to pick a team and stick with them as opposed to simply hating on the Lake show ;)

Going for 2-0 tonight ladies and gents!!

The thought of having to possibly root for the Pistons in the final against the Lakers is pretty sickening. The Celtics need to get their shit together.

Truthfully I'm a little embarrassed to be a Laker hater, but what can I do. I've been hating on them since I was 10. It's a habit I can't kick like eating with your elbows on the table or Catholicism.

Besides, my team, the GS Dubs, decided not to show up for the playoffs this year, so Laker hating is all I got

Quite the ass whooping that LA put on San Antonio. I hope it doesn't last. ;)

now we have a b-ball convo going on, BS just gets better and better.

I hate the lottery, we (heat) shoulda gotten the first pick, but no.
He did choke, in the final, not before, just like brady in the superbowl.
He was outplayed in the final.

Anywho, if pistons and spurs get to the final again, i think it will be good, last year it went to seven games, i think its better than porto vs monaco. lol.

Both won't. It'll be the Lakers vs. either the Celtics or Pistons ;)

With the second bold, are you talking about the actual NBA finals? The Spurs swept the Cavs in 4 last time.

that was a good no call ;)

I think it's safe to say the better team won tonight.

Biassss. If it were Kobe it would have been called ;)

The better team did win though, but not without a little controversy.

my bad i meant, 2005 finals, it went 3-4 spurs.

Anywho it was a bad no call, fisher was moving into where barry was moving, it should been a two shot fouls as he was trying to drive, he shot way after the foul for it to be a three shot foul, the lakers were over the foul limit.

No way in hell are the Spurs going to win 3 straight against the Lakers (2 of them being in LA). It's up to the Celtics to stop the re-emergence of the evil empire. God help us if it's a Lakers-Pistons final.

As much as I loathe the Lakers, that shouldn't of been called a foul. Playoff games shouldn't hinge on bailouts like that.

But yes, if it was Kobe he would have got the call. In fact, this barely registers in the littany of Laker calls that LA has historically received this decade. My favorite will always be Wally Sczerbiak... alright, I'll stop. :)

the fallacy of this argument, within the context of the current series, is incredible.

Did you see how many free throws Kobe put up in Game 4? How about a big fat ZERO. He's averaging 2 or 3 for the series. The Spurs were the ones getting the 'littany of calls' all game long...not the Lakers.

I do, however, agree with you that Kobe would have gotten the foul. Why? Because he would have done the smart thing and jumped into the defender and not try to dribble around him.

On to game 5!!! Let's close it out!

The 'foul' came after the shot. Barry didn't try to dribble around Fisher.

Scratch that. I thought you were talking about the actual shot, not what happened right before it.

    I can't argue this.

Howeverrrrr, in this decade? Laker calls? Come on.

Anyway, I'm pulling out all the stops. I have a Lakers shirt from the Celtics/Lakers short short game from this season; I'm giving it to my drummer who's a big Laker fan. If things get real desperate, I might have to go to my last ditch attempt: twenty bucks on the Lakers to win the Finals!! I never win bets!

horrible 4th quarter by celtics, that just shows how badly they dont have heart, they were up by so much but were so lazy on the transitions, i say they deserved to lose because of lazyness. But i guess it makes the series better, i am all for game sevens so i will root for d-troit next game and then just enjoy a game 7.

I just can't see Detroit beating Boston twice in a row. Boston is more likely to win on Friday than drop two in a row.
