YEAH!!!!! Super pumped for the Warriors to pull off the biggest upset since the Nuggets beat the Sonics so damn long ago. Granted, it's been a while since I lived in the bay and the glory days of Dampier, Marshall, Spree choking out PJ, and drafting Todd Fuller  but I'm still psyched.

I hope Dampier gets booed out of Oakland.

    Baby Bulls!

We have to win tonight for the 2 seed, then we can breeze right into the Eastern Conference Championship. Once that happens, anything is possible.

The best part? Since we own the right to swap picks with the NY Knicks, and that pick is completely unprotected (only Isiah would allow this), we could end up with 50 wins, a #2 seed in the playoffs, and a top 5 pick in the draft.

Isiah Thomas for Executive of the Year!

Wassup Mike? Too bad it didn't work out and we didn't get to hang out in Chi Town, but I did get to see the Baby Bull-sheviks blow it in OT to the Cavs. Our section went nuts when Ben Wallace scored... from the FT line about 2 minutes into overtime.

Good luck though, although you probably won't need it drawing an Arenas-less Wizards!!!

I know, that would have been great. My friend and I went to Florida to visit some of his friends for the weekend. We ended up staying a couple extra days since UF made the national title game, and his friends were all HUGE Gators.

Have a good time while you were down here?

Went to the Oakland Arena tonight to watch the W's play at Portland on the big screen. What an atmosphere! We W's fans have been waiting a looong time! I was 19 the last time we made the playoffs. I went my entire 20s without even a sniff (I'll be 32 in June). Still hasn't sunk in.

    "Warriors"?
    "Playoffs"?
In the same sentence?! What, did hell freeze over or something!!
Next you're gonna tell me that someone will score a better goal than Maradona's run against England in '86! :p
To be honest, I haven't watched an NBA game in ages but I always sleep with KNBR on the radio so I'm usually listening to the games. But I'll be watching the playoffs.
Wasn't Nelson coaching the last time the Warriors made the playoffs? Was that the "Run-TMC" era?!

LOL! I turn 41 in June, which means I went through my 30s without seeing them in the playoffs.
I haven't gone to a Warriors game since the mid-80s.

Not saying they'll win the series, but no way are they getting swept.

Bulls really blew that game. Now we're a 5 seed, and we have to face Detroit in round two. I don't think we can take them.

Miami on the other hand... we got this.

As I'm still fuming about that dumbass Villarreal game, it makes me feel a bit better to know that the Lakers bit it against the Suns today. My roommate's boyfriend was watching it and ... Jesus Christ, does Kobe EVER pass the damn ball? Maybe it's because the Lakers are so mediocre without him, but I thought one or more of his teammates were going to pull a muscle trying to get him to part with the ball.

I jokingly chided all my Laker lover friends that the over/under on shots Kobe jacks up is set at 35. He was under by 2. :(

    WAR Warriors! Three more!!

I just wanted to state, for the record, that I am now rooting for Golden State in the West. Wow, I had no idea they had become this fun to watch. They've turned a boring 1-8 match-up into THE series to watch.

Tiemyshoey I'm sorry to say but all that time I was ranting about how hillarious you sig was slightly due to my bad eyes. I thought that the quote was from Jason Richardson (the guy from the Warriors). No idea who James Richardson is.

Haha, sorry Rakim. I don't think Jason Richardson is so witty. James Richardson is the host of the Guardian's Football Weekly podcast, and he said it once and I thought it was heeelarious.

But if Jason Richardson ever does say something witty I'll sig it!
