Looks like Gentner, Tasci, and Träsch all played today vs. Denmark. Tasci as CB, Trasch as CM (with Hitz! lol)..... and it looks like Gentner played as a left back? What?!?
No, Gentner played in DM. Interestingly, the best players IMHO were Gentner, Träsch and Hitz. Tasci was solid overall, but had an WTF moment before the first Danish goal, giving the ball away in front of the goal...but he has only come back from his vacation, so at least he has an excuse... In other news, our U21 with Gebhart and Schieber fcuked it up against Iceland, meaning that we'll miss out on the U21 European Championship.
Ulreich was also part of the U21 squad, but didn't play against Iceland. So this round of U-21s really don't compare to the group that was captained by Khedira.
As I wrote in the injury thread, Boka picked up a pretty irritatingly long injuy playing for the Ivory Coast yesterday Marica's Romania drew Ukraine but 'lost' in a shootout at the end. Marica's has been chatting some crap while he has been there by the way, I will write more on this tomorrow. Basically, could be the beginning of the end of his time at VfB. Good news though - Hajnal scored in Hungary's 2-0 win over Azerbaijan tonight
