Considering all the events of these past weekend maybe a unified effort to combat the Nazi tactics of the Yellowshirts could be in order. Getting together with other SG's and picking a day to wear YELLOW. This would show the league that the supporter groups talk together on this and will not allow these tactics to continue. Thoughts?
I posted a response earlier in another NY Supporters solidarity post so sorry for the redundancy, but the stories of your security guards is even the butt of jokes in the far realms of the West Coast. On the Whitecaps board, this pic showed up when we were discussing our own security; I feel bad for you guys if this is who breathes heavy (while just standing) down your neck all match long, and bans your premier season ticket holders. WTF? I find it ironic that I found this picture too today in a book of Italian posters from the interwar periods. Describes to me how these guys view handling security at a soccer game; (I've linked the pic from my facebook, so I'm not 100% sure it'll show up, tell me if it doesn't and I'll put it up on flickr or something).
We need to coodinate with all the MLS supporter groups and have a league wide protest. Security harrassement is like a cancer, spreading everywhere, and if we don't stop it it will affect all of us.
Maybe we could get the players to wear a yellow wrist band or something yellow as a show of solidarity that would show up on TV. This way it would be spoken about. I'm sure that someone can get in to talk to the players.
just like A.C.A.B. (All Cops Are Bastards) is all around europe, we should start A.Y.S.A.B. (All Yellow Shirts Are Bastards) you never know...
The Barra Brava in DC had serious issues with the Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers about six or seven years ago and made their point with yellow shirts. Just a thought. CSC needs to be de-nadded.
Maybe I could just piss on their legs, so their socks would match their shirts. Nah, piss is to good for them.
