Edmonton's Drillers-inspired kit has been added to my NASL. Sadly I couldn't put the Drillers' script on the jersey due to already having a sponsor (United Way) uploaded for them. Another issue for EA to address, perhaps. Also, with the offseason soon upon us, I'll be keeping rosters up to date with every move around the league as it happens.
FIFA 15 might feature the NY Cosmos in the other leagues section, but there are too many league missing for FIFA to feature an obscure league like NASL.
Atlanta's alternate black kit from the Soccer Bowl has been added. http://www.easports.com/fifa/football-club/creation-centre?league_id=171787383
Ha...I don't know how much better I'm making the world, but I guess a little bit better is better than nothing. Trust me when I say it's been a lot of fun to work on this project over the last several months. The fact that people can have a good time with it makes it all worthwhile.
That's not really how they decide which leagues get in. It's primarily a matter of demand and also a matter of licensing. When FIFA starts selling like Madden in the US, you'll start to see lower-tier US teams. But for FIFA to sell like Madden, my bet is we'll need lower division soccer to be both stable and viable--and both of those are still long-shots.
I bought the PS4 version, but unfortunately they did not put in the tournament mode or team creation. I wish I'd known that as that was tournament the mode I played most on FIFA 13. After going to the Soccer Bowl I wanted to play as the Silverbacks. http://answers.ea.com/t5/FIFA-14/No...-14-Also-there-is-no-way-to-play/td-p/1851269 http://answers.ea.com/t5/FIFA-14/No-tournament-mode-in-FIFA-14-PS4/td-p/1849137 I don't know if this mode will be in the Xbox One version (though I doubt it).
So of course as soon as Minnesota features my NASL on their site, Creation Center decides to corrupt the file when I go to update one simple thing. Ugh. Anyway, the new version of the league is up. Go to the link or search for it under blkbrnrvr. http://www.easports.com/fifa/football-club/creation-centre?league_id=180424205
Indy and Ottawa have been added to my NASL, even though they don't have the requisite 18 players yet. I've temporarily completed their respective rosters with generic players, but of course I'll be fixing that as they sign more players. http://www.easports.com/uk/fifa/football-club/creation-centre?league_id=180424205
An update on my NASL: As I mentioned on the jersey thread the other day, Edmonton's jerseys, while nice, have proven to be problematic to accurately recreate with the templates on Creation Centre. As such, I had to switch Edmonton's shirt from Adidas to Nike in order to get a final result that even begins to slightly resemble their 2014 attire. Alas, it is what it is. San Antonio's shirt, specifically the black and gray one, also gave me some issues due to the proper shade of gray not being available. It would be great if one could enter RGB color codes to get the right hue in cases like this. And as always, the rosters are being updated almost as soon as every transaction is announced these days, so keep checking in between now and opening day to make sure you have the most accurate rosters. It's a labor of love, people. Labor. Of. Love. http://www.easports.com/fifa/football-club/creation-centre?league_id=180424205
I don't know how much anybody here is into the FIFA mod stuff, but you can actually get UC content put into the actual FIFA DB and then edit kits. I've already created ones for Indy and Edmonton. I hope to have the rest done soon. Willing to share if anybody is interested.
