    Watched a bit of Napoli against Palermo, they have an amazing attack... I can't see him breaking in the starting lineup this season. They just link up telepathically... it will take a season at least for Vargas to reach this level of understanding with his teammates. Mazzarri is right on this one, he should be eased in slowly for best effect.

    It took Pandev 10 games to be able to link up with the attack.
    Now he can easily replace one of our top three.
    I hope Vargas can do the same.

    We will then have 5 top atatckers by the end of the season:
    Cavani, Lavezzi, Hamsik, Pandev, Vargas

    We must keep all of them and bring back Insigne next year and we easily have one of the best attacks in Europe.

    We must strengthen defence and midfield over the summer. The bold ones are where we need additions in my view.

    Goal:
    De Sanctis (???)

    Defence:
    ??? (Campagnaro) - Britos (Cannavaro) - Chivu? (Fernandez)

    Midfield:
    Maggio (Zuniga) - Inler (Gargano) - ??? (Dzemailli) - ??? (Dossena)

    Attack:
    Lavezzi (Vargas) - Cavani (Pandev) - Hamsik (Insigne)

    Chivu gets outrun and is forced to foul occasionally, he does have some positioning skills and can tackle but don't expect him to contribute to the attack in anyway...at least successfully

Mazzarri ha detto chiaramente nei giorni scorsi che il Napoli dovrà adesso lavorare per sfoltire la rosa, e l’attaccante sembra fra quelli destinati a partire… “Sì, Cristiano andrà via, per lui si profila un clamoroso ritorno al Lecce.     pandevs contract keeps coming up in discussion relating to what will happen at the end of the season.

    I am a HUGE fan of pandev and really really hope he stays. to me he has unbelievable quality. he has the mind of a center midfield maestro. his soccer mind is fantastic, one of the best. when he has the ball its seems to glue to his foot and then when he releases it the ball glides away, most usually into a very positive play. his only major weakness, in my opinion, is speed. but i am ok with it i think since he brings such great quality.

    I really hope he sticks around for another year so he can continue bringing the PANDEVMONIUM!

    its down to him really, does he wait for a team to offer him 3.5 mill a year, does he not get that offer and stay at inter, a club that no longer wants him, or does he offer his services to napoli with at least a 1.5 mill pay cut, its a lot of money to lose out on, but when you've been earning millions for years does dropping 1.5 mill a year really matter when you're still gonna be earning millions?

    true, and unfortunately we're a club that has bad luck with getting players that love to ride the cash bench
    suazo, mancini, muntari, rivas etc.
    I'm hoping(to the benefit of everyone) that he stays in napoli, I don't want to see him on our bench for the remaining 2-3 1/2 years
