the thread became something i didnt like so i cleaned some posts up it was stuff that should never of been posted because the one who did had no idea the real meaning behind the picture he posted for the people of Napoli so ya lets leave it at that.
wait so... i posted a bad picture? i'm not having a go at you, i'm just wondering what you specifically mean? LOL, if your referring to me, i hope i didnt post anything bad in this picture thread, i just wanted to find good pictures that, associate with napoli, and are really good photo's that are timeless... if your referring to me swaering in other threads i'll stop, i realised that i have gone overboard and shouldn't apply my swaering onto a forum like i do in real life
There was no violation of board policies at all. You just didn't like people to see what those Napoli supporters did in public in the name of their own team so you purged it because you're a Napoli fan. It's an abuse of moderator power but feel free to dress it up as rising above.
once again, this is the same idiot that posts pictures then runs away when people put them in perspective...go cry to the British, American, Spanish, German, etc. clubs that flash the confederate flag (as well as Nazi flags)...see how much they care about what you go on whining about. uuuaaaaahhhhhh... last I heard, Napoli was NEVER known as place where slavery and racism were rampant...Napoli (and Italy) were never known for the slave trade...take that up with your American ancestors instead of spewing your opinions here...
you were twisting to make it seem like the whole city and fan base are a bunch of racists the fact is they are not using that flag the same way people in america use that flag. The reason why that flag is used in southern italy is to show a desire to separate not for any racist undertones just for the simple but blunt message that they wish they never became part of northern italy because the southern italian people have suffered racism from Northerners and were even kicked out of italy because they were seen as stupid and were sent to America.
you haven't but your pictures were going to take this thread way off topic to the point it could have become trolling. Remember this is the internet debates are pointless and so are arguments so if you are done with what you wanted to do move on.
http://inagist.com/BeardEric/180036185694015488/ Tell me what terms of this site I'm violating by posting this link.
because i did not like where things were going it was taking the thread of topic the point of this thread is to post of pictures of Napoli players and memorial moments not to debate ones morals ethics codes etc that is all. futhermore its something that perhaps nobody here can fully understand so their is no point in making it into a big thing.
If Napoli has any interest in building positive and cooperative relationships with US clubs then you cannot do this. You cannot have those clubs believing that Napoli supporters would consider it OK to bring that flag on the road (as was done here) and potentially to an American stadium. You don't want any part of that. I'm saying that if Napoli wants to someday tap the US pool of talent they would do well to avoid displays which will be instantly misunderstood by those youngsters. Display of Confederate iconography at sporting events is a controversy very near to the surface in the American South. You will not tell anyone from these parts that they don't understand that flag.
