The tactician has been linked with the job in Turin next season, as Gigi Del Neri is hanging by a thread after three consecutive defeats.

When asked about the rumours, Mazzarri’s reaction in today’s Press conference was unexpectedly coy.

“It is gratifying when your worth is recognised, but I am not falling for this,” he declared.

Lotito: 'Napoli lost their history in C'[IMG][IMG][IMG]The blazing row between Lazio and Napoli escalated today when President Claudio Lotito said the Partenopei “lost their history in Serie C.”
Lotito already slammed the “lack of fair play” after Napoli’s 4-3 win on Sunday and reportedly came to blows with President Aurelio De Laurentiis during an official dinner to discuss pay-per-view television rights.

“Edinson Cavani dived and was awarded a penalty. In the same weekend, Javier Zanetti fouled Antonio Cassano for a spot-kick and was booked, while Giuseppe Biava was sent off. I demand uniformity in the decisions of referees,” the Lazio patron told Il Messaggero newspaper.

The row over splitting up pay-per-view television rights is set to drag on, as the Romans want more than second-placed Napoli.

“We were offered €49m for the television rights, but I ask why Lazio should be the only club to take a cut?

“Does it count for nothing that we are one of the teams in the Capital? Doesn’t our history matter? Lazio have 111 years of history, while in recent years won the Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup. I don’t think the others did.

“Plus we have always been called Lazio and not Napoli Soccer. It’s too easy to begin again from Serie C1 and not pay off a club’s debts, but at least you lose your history in Serie C.”

The reference was to Napoli, who went bankrupt in 2004 and began again from the Third Division under the name Napoli Soccer.

After a few years, the original title Napoli was auctioned off and President Aurelio De Laurentiis bought it.

ESPNdeportes report Jorge Ramos is reporting USMNT:Napoli on August 5th in New York's Yankee stadium.

I'd almost certainly make it to NYC for this match and would love to meet up with any of the you who could.

that would be awesome and I'm sooooo totally there...BUT...if we do qualify for CL, won't that take priority?....In other words, we might just see the bench playing which mind you, I'd still go see....;)

so, some of you might remember, I've mentioned before how there is a Macron store near my house in Mississauga, Ontario...yesterday, I wanted to go buy some gear and when I showed up, all the stuff was SOLD OUT...admittedly, the owner told me he didn't buy a lot because he was new to the area (He's from Parma), and wasn't sure how the merch would sell here...he was very impressed suffice to say. More importantly though, he told me he'd not be getting any new stuff until the summer since Napoli has qualified for CL and Macron will be releasing a whole new slew of merch as a result which is GREAT news...he told me he's actually seen everything that will be selling with the exception of the jersey which he should see at some point in mid to late June. While he couldn't show me the new merch, he told me it looks AMAZING and there will be PLENTY of new stuff...here's hoping he's telling the truth though I don't know why he'd lie....

I'll keep you posted on when he gets new gear....
as far as a website, he said just check the Macron site for gear and then let him know what you want...also, he'll have stuff in store...

I advised him to have his own independent webpage and even put a nice big sign at the front off the street since it is still kind of hidden...I came across it totally by fluke...
