I want to switch to midfield training at the beginning of next season but I really don't know anything about it. How does 3-5-2 training work (with wingers and whatnot)? I don't have much money but I can probably sell some guys (a magnificent forward, a brilliant forward, and a magical midfielder) to get around $1.5-2.5 million to get started. Is that enough? I have 3 outstanding midfielders... should I sell them as well and stack my team with trainees, or keep these guys around and try to stay competitive in my series? Also, what attributes would be good to look for to start?
You get 10 training spots, 6 100% and 4 50%(wingers) How old are your outstanding mids? If they are younger than 24 I would keep them at first. They will allow you not to get to screwed in possession and then when you sell after a pop or 2 you will get more money. I would buy 3 18 yr old Solid to excellent PM'ers at first. i would get them with very good secondaries and specialitys. Inad or better in passing passable or better in defending. You should be able to get those guys for 1 million dollars total.
I would sell at least the 31 yr old. You are at risk of him losing skills anyway. The 27 year olds may pop once over the course of a season. buy an 18 year old excellent/formid with really good secondaries and header to put in the starting lineup. Also get 3-4 18 yr old solids with good secondaries. I would get one good winger and play one WTM. that way you have more midfield power and save money at first
