Mind you, I would like Donovan, Angel, DeRosario and Blanco but I will try to at least be somewhat realistic...both in terms of fees, permits, and stage in their career

    (1) Kenny Cooper - FC Dallas - a perfect replacement for Kitson. Has really turned it on this year and I believe he can get a permit rather. Was also a youngster at Man U
    (2) Shalrie Joseph - NE Rev - He had a deal to go to Celtic that MSL did not accept. Should Harper go, I think Reading could have him for $3.0M and he would protect Marek in the middle. Of course, to a cetain extent, you can get that Joseph-like holding midfielder stuff from Bikey but Shalrie has a lot more experience . No problem with permit
    (3) Gonzalo Segares - Chi Fire - Costa Rican International...should not have a problem with a permit and would be a great replacement for Shorey. Segares is solid and is very good in the attack.

I like the idea of Cooper and I'm sure he would love another shot at England.
I don't think Joseph would be a good fit. He has been a bit of a head case for NE.
I don't know much about Segares, but from what I have seen, he is a pretty solid defender.

Supposedly Ives was saying last night during the All-Star game that MLS has received multiple offers for Cooper ad that he was out. Ives thought one of the offers was from Copenhagen.

Gonzo has been a solid defender for Chicago. Not too shy about making a run into the final third either. He's got a couple of solid central defenders in Soumare and Conde backing him up. Arguably the best back line in MLS at the moment.
