Well I'm 22 studying theology working in a book shop. I came to know of the Dynamo thanks to ESPN showing the MLS, but ultimately the choice of Dynamo was an easy one, my girlfriend is from Houston (she lives in San Antonio at the moment) so that made it an easy choice. I'll be heating to the US late this year for a month (and to propose) and will be picking up a Dynamo kit while I'm there.
Re: Dynamo fans are everywhere Why yes, I am a dork! Forgot to mention that I support the Central Coast Mariners in the Australian A-League who won the Premiership last season (2007-08, similar to your supporters shield). Some European clubs but yea, don't want to start fights.

Re: Dynamo fans are everywhere Well I'll be in San Antonio from the 27th of Dec to the 24th of January - I might try and time a visit to Houston for an Interliga match, but I will certainly get there at some stage (after all I do have to ask her mother's permission to marry her). I'll pick up a kit for sure, I really want the one used this year with the star and scuddetto, that'll be available still yea? (We sold out of CCM ones before the A-League final last year!) As for a drink, well I don't drink booze so I'm cheap! Also, I can kind of understand Sydney FC on account of the sucked at the PPC but why not Queensland? Don't get me wrong Queensland do suck but why the hatred for them? CCM clearly the best team in that league!

I would be very surprised if they didn't still have some left over by the time you get here in December. The Scudetto and star is only on the authentic (as opposed to the replica) but it's not a rare commodity.

Re: Dynamo fans are everywhere 1. Keep claiming to be the 'glamour' club 2. The Chairman of the FFA (Football Federation Australia) has a controling share 3. Their coach is a tool 4. The media loves them 5. They claim to be the most successful club in Australia when they've only won one trophy (Unless you count the OCL) 6. Decisions seem to mysteriously favour Sydney FC (see point 2) 7. The players believe the hype about the team (although this might be changing) 8. Their games are always called "match of the round" even when it's last V 2nd last 9. They sign over paid has beens (I'm looking at you John Aloi$i) 10. They dive 11. They bitch to referees constantly (well Popovic did but he's gone now) 12. They touch referees more than any other club 13. My team is playing them this week 14. They qualified for the PPC despite being one of the worst teams in the league (4/8) 15. The Coach & CEO come out in the media and berate the players every time they lose 16. The rats are fleeing the sinking ship Well there you go I got 16. Don't hate them as much as Scumcastle, but Scumcastle is the more important derby to us.

Re: Dynamo fans are everywhere Well they are similar to LAX. Melbourne 'Victory' hmm, everyone hates Melbourne, they should do much better than they have done over 4 years. Their fans can be a bit hooliganish at times. If you were watching them in the 2006-07 Season I can understand why you would like them, they had a couple of South American guys that tore the league apart, they won the Premiership (our Supporters Shield) & the Championship (playoffs) that year.
Re: Dynamo fans are everywhere The name Victory just annoys me. Once they were announcing the results on the radio and it's "The Melbourne Victory lost 1-0 to the Queensland Roar in tonight's A-League game" before the DJ chimes in "Victory hey? That was an optimistic outlook!"
Re: Dynamo fans are everywhere The state is Victoria, but yea, I don't think they were that smart with it. They do have a V on their kit to symbolise Victoria. You should support a real team like the Mariners (I jest, support whoever you want, just not Sydney FC or Scumcastle)
