I'm happy they got Olympiakos. They aren't good enough to win it, but they are good enough to beat Olympiakos, which means that it's more likely they are going to play at least 2 more CL matches after Olympiakos, which means that there will be less focus on the league at the club.
Villas Boas has to go back to Portugal, right? No way he gets hired again in England, at least not any time soon. (That's not a slight on the Portuguese league, btw, but it's the only place he's had success.) Tottenham will certainly be linked with Mauricio Pochettino now.
dammit - I hope not. He's a manager that I believe can get a lot out of the amount of quality that Spurs possess. Might still not solve the striking problems however.

Borini! Although I'd like to see Chel$ski play more games to stretch them thinner and thinner...I also like to see them fall out of the cup competitions...come on Sunderland, hold on for the win... Borini is on loan there, correct? Although he doesn't get much time, when he plays he seems to make things happen - seems to have scored a few goal and today with a goal and an assist...
Damn! I usually set the DVR to record the hour after cup games but forgot this one time. Nice goal from a tight angle for Borini. Happy as the proverbial clam that the Chavs were beaten.
I hate it when that happens. There should be an automated function on the providers end that extends the recording in case the programming goes over scheduled time. Sometimes I set the DVR to record for an additional 30 mins but it doesn't always do it... Damn comcast!
That makes two 'pool loanees that have beaten them in recent weeks. Let's hope our first team can do the same. He seems to be making an impact off the bench - something that could be of use to us.
Same thought I have when I forget....Why can't they get it right...!!! I've noticed also that with NBCS we may have to start the recording 15 minutes earlier than their posted time. Twice now (That I know of) they've started the matches 15 minutes into them. I was hoping for better from NBC but so often now you look at the scheduling and all it say is "To be announced" That is just lazy, they think we're all pointy ball followers who will watch anything that's on, it's all the same. The last 30 years of Pac 10 has their biggest following. Bad as this "stupid new" forum. wouldn't let me quote you I had to copy and paste. Now it won't let me post......or it'll post 6 times......

Its likely a cable operator/DVR software issue. Comcast always seemed to cut beginning/end of shows, FIOS doesn't seem to have the same issues.
