Because Ozil never went to the travelling Gunners fans to applaud as is custom for pretty much everyone in the league after an away game. He simply walked straight to the tunnel. Mertersacker was angry because it was selfish and disrespectful.
Podolski is injured - he, like Sturridge, is good for a couple of injuries a year including one that is usually 1-2 months. Oxlade Chamberlain - also injured - apparently in the 1st EPL game of the season - turned out to be a PCL strain. That's a heck of a long time to miss for that injury.
Steve Clarke just got sacked by West Brom! I thought he did a really good job there for the first six months. A year is a long time in football though...
Crickey, that was quick. As el-cap says, we can get him back as defensive coach, maybe? It looks as if he's on gardening leave so will likely not be on the market till summer or he loses his contract being paid out.
Always though Benteke was nothing more than a quick lump, a lump who frightened Skrtel to death, mind, but a lump all the same. He's virtually disappeared after terrorising our centre-halves last season.
They probably are, but in one of the shittest games of football I have ever seen their away support kept me amused. They sang the whole game and some of the chants aimed at the 'dead' Villa support was pretty lively. Awful, awful game but happy to see that Fletcher did not have to retire.
It's actually quite flattering. Even when they win a game that they so desperately need. Liverpool is the leading thing on their tiny, inferiority complexed minds
AVB out - pretty funny - since apparently Spurs are in crisis or out of crisis weekly. Looks like it's wasn't so much that we beat them - but humiliated them that got him the axe.
Two straight complete and utter capitulations by a team is pretty indicative of the leadership. He had to go after this result. After we've drubbed Norwich the last three times we've played them, they won their next match...
CL Draw: To be played February 18, 19, 25, 26 and March 11, 12, 18, 19 Manchester City v Barcelona Olympiakos v Manchester United AC Milan v Atletico Madrid Bayer Leverkusen v Paris St Germain Galatasaray v Chelsea Schalke v Real Madrid Zenit v Dortmund Arsenal v Bayern
I sorta liked AVB but when two teams can exploit the no mans land (Or the f*ckin' big space) behind the defense, then you have to blame the man on the dry erase board.
