It's being considered for an oscar. Though, there have been complaints about the movie where people felt nausea during a scene. It's based on a true story! I see James Franco being nominated for an oscar.

    Also, Check out DOG POUND:

Umm. It felt a little cheesy. I don't like Ryan Reynolds.

You should be paid to watch that. And no, I'm not a religious nut, I'm an atheist. It's nuts how the "documentary" format seems to be exploding again as a common propaganda form.

James Franco has to amputate his own arm to survive. Thats why people were passing out.

I recently came across an Indian movie set in Goa in the late 1950s when it was ruled by Portugal and was about to be annexed by India. The movie was made in the 80s and is kind of slow sometimes. However,I found it very interesting as it does a great job of showing the culture of the period in great detail. Good watch if you are into that kind of stuff.

Anyways the movie is called "Trikal" and is available through Netflix.

Just watched DRIVE at AMC. Bang for buck. 8/10

Wow! Pretty good, slick film. Not too cheesy. Reminded me of Tarantino's noir action/thriller, but much better directed. I recommend it. Best movie of the year.

I saw THE THING the other night and it was quite disappointing. It is a remake of the 80s' version and it seemed to be rushed, too much CGI and useless characters. I don't understand why hollywood thinks they're inferior to the fans.... all they care about is money.

My rating: 6/10. Rent it on DVD.

Just watched "Warrior" with my roommate and his father. Wow! Just watch it. It's an instant classic with a evocative ending. Can't say enough.

    9/10. A MUST SEE!

Definatly recommend it to everyone on here. Thought it was well acted by the entire cast and the story which started out a little weird turned out to be touching. One of those movies thats better to watch with the entire family. Obrigado amigos
