No offense. But I am guessing Final Destination 4 is the same as Final Destination 1,2,and 3?

They are like the Saw movies. Nothing changes.

I watched Marvel's second try remake of the Incredible Hulk (the one with Edward Norton). It was actually pretty solid. Norton is a good actor.

I want to go to that Woodstock movie starring Demetri Martin. Anyone see that one yet?

The Odeon! Now that's a blast from the past. Saw some great movies there, all the classics went there first.

Didn't realize it was still going and hadn't been changed into a bowling alley..:)

Saw an off beat German movie tonight that wasn't too bad.

What really was interesting was the trailer for the move “Irina Palm” where Marianne Faithfull has the upper hand! And the job as a Wanker, soon gets a following because she's so good.
My wife was "gobsmacked" watching the trailer.

I think a couple of manure's team could get a job there.

I started watching "Occupation" a BBC movie about guys back from Iraq. One guy, the ubiguous scouser is in bed with a girl and she's asking "Why do you go to war." and he says " We joined up so we could go to war, if a soldier didn't go to war, he'd be like El haj Diouf. Who's that, someone you shot?" "No, he plays for Liverpool and he can't get in the team"

Anyway I got called away so I'll catch the rest later. It starts again at 9pm PST on BBCTV

    Me again.....

Just seen a movie clip from TV's "At the Movies" called "That Damned United" The trailer looked like fun, its about Leeds United when Brian Clough and Don Revie are fighting over the managers spot. Basically how Cloughy takes a top club and screws it up until he's sacked 44 days later.

Looks like a film to watch, most of the reviewers don't seem to get it and try and equate it with baseball shows they've seen. But then they're movie reviewers and not football's tabloid media.....Hmm... same thing really. Opinionated buggers.

    Good read here.

We had to go to Seattle yesterday to do some work, Sunday. But we found a theatre that was showing "That Damned United" for afterwards.

Actually a good movie. I enjoyed it and my wife did as well. I told her we used to call Billy Bremner the dirty little dwarf, he really was a nasty little shit. So they now have a statue of him outside the leeds ground. An old clip of Leeds playing Liverpool for the 1974? Charity Shield Was fun, Bremner gets Keegan red carded.

    Worth watching!
    **********

Clough gets sacked after 45 days with leeds and fades out for a while. But comes back strong later and takes Notingham Forest from nowhere to 2 European League cups. Not bad really.

What was funny, I caught an archive recording on FSC this afternoon of the last match played in front of the old 'standing' Kop. some of the old guys there, were god, Rushie, Steve Nichols, a young David James, Barnsie and a young guy named Nigel Clough. Brian Clough's son.
Funny how these thing sort of fit together.

    Saw "Kenny" tonight.

An Aussie movie about a regular guy who runs a corporate porta pottie business.

It's actually kind of fun, a feel good movie, despite all the puns. :) Well how could they do a movie like that without the puns. All two hours of shit...sorry, it!

    Worth watching!

Oh and it's ok for america to watch.. They've subtitled it.....:D

Watched the Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus yesterday.

    What the f***!

Was someone doing some Lorne-quality weed (apparently it has some strength) when they wrote that? Someone please explain to me what I was meant to be watching...because it started as nothing, and ended with nothing. I think I lost 2 hours of my life.

    Lily Cole was great :D

Colin Farrell is still a dirty bastard.

    RIP Heath.

Just watched Paranormal Activity tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Very much the spiritual sequel to The Blair Witch Project.

Not sure if its had a mention here but I watched Zidane a 21st century portrait twice more this week.
The guys skill and grace on the pitch is a thing of beauty.

Due to my recent surgery, Ive had plenty of time for TV episodes and movies. Im about to get a new lot of movies now.

Watching Entourage season 5 and 6, and have no doubt that it will be good.

Watched up to episode 10 of season 3 of Californication and despite its beautiful crudeness, its very funny.

Also watched up to episode 10/12 of Supernatural season 5, and annoyingly they've postponed the last two episodes until the end of January...just to build suspense (dickheads). Great stuff...my favourite series.

Hired Miracle, Ali, Remember The Titans, Freedom Writers and also got The Hangover on my PS3 from a cousin.

All of these movies were good. Hadnt seen The Hangover yet and it certainly lived up to all the reputation...********ing hilarious.

Id already seen Miracle, Ali and Remember the Titans and they are guaranteed winners...especially Remember the Titans. Denzel is a beast! Love that man!

Freedom Writers was one of the most emotional movies ive seen, and one of the best. I reckon there mightve been a few watery moments, just like El-Cap usually is after Moulin Rouge :D...although he'd be weeping.

Ive made a list to choose from tonight but im sure ill see something at the store as well.

    Bucket List
    Inglorious Basterds
    Schindlers List
    Paranormal Activity
    Training Day
    American Gangster
    Land of the Lost
    Anchorman
    I Am Legend
    Enemy of the State
    Pulp Fiction
    Shawshank Redemption
    Thin Red Line
    Saving Private Ryan
    Matrix 1, 2, 3
    Gladiator
    Three Kings
    Sin City
    Blood Diamond
    Bourne Series
    Kill Bill 1, 2
    Hotel Rwanda
    There Will Be Blood

Ill probably get about 5 DVDs and at the moment im leaning towards Anchorman, American Gangster, I Am Legend, Gladiator, Hotel Rwanda, Bourne Series and Bucket List.

Anyone got any good football movies they can recommend?

Got yourself quite a list there. I don't know any good footie pics but i'm going to get the Zidane one when I can. I love that guys moves. I could teach him about that "Liverpool Kiss" though.

The only movie I've seen and hated on the list is training day. I'm not saying you shouldn't watch it,just in MHO it SUCKED. An excuse for Washington to overact and an excuse for the acadamy to give a bogus Oscar because of political pressure.

Shawshank Redemption. One of the best!

And Bucket list.....Well I'm working on mine now while I'm still fit (for my freekin' age) My bucket list won't let me do things with a tube up my nose...:)

Ok. That helps my recommendations for you then...

See Bucket List, Hotel Rwanda, and There Will Be Blood. Avoid Land of the Lost. I am neutral on Sin City.

    You're all wankers!

Tiger and I are allowed to do whatever we want...although in our last D&M, I did inform him that 5 was too many. He kept on saying:
"Shut up Grinners. Im good enough to go for 5 holes at once!"

    :D

PS: Tiger is a wonderful sportsman, idol of mine, but he is a douche.
