Never been abroad. I do loves me some fries here, though. Prefer shoestring or steak fries. Not sure if either exist abroad. Prefer mayo. Just plain mayo. Or a mayo/ketchup blend, but not plain ketchup. Enjoyed with a fork.

My mother is going to France next year. Somewhere around Toulouse. I don't think I'm able to accompany her, and think that's outside of Ligue 1 Feminin "territoire" anyway (I need to see a teams map). :(

Guess I'll miss out on the good frites.

In the meantime, here are some highlights of Serbia vs England. (Half national anthems, half goals.)

Toulouse which is a very beautiful city by the way, unfortunatly relegated to second division this year , but there is As Muret in the first division ....Muret is at 20 km from toulouse.

Lara Dickenmann is out for a few weeks with a thigh injury, and not available for Switzerland's Euros qualifier against Romania tomorrow.

You should be able to watch the match online here, as from 6.15pm CEST tomorrow Wednesday (kick-off 6.30pm).

Muret! There you go. And they're solidly in there, I guess. Not a great team, but not hanging out in the drop zone, either.

And Iceland v. Belgium will be available as a webcast from 9.30pm CEST, courtesy of Icelandic television ("landsleikur í fótbolta BEINT", if you need to hunt for it).

And just because I have a fetish for diacritics, here's the team .

    Markvörður: Þóra Helgadóttir
    Hægri bakvörður: Ólína G. Viðarsdóttir
Miðverðir: Sif Atladóttir og Katrín Jónsdóttir
    Vinstri bakvörður: Hallbera Guðný Gísladóttir
Tengiliðir: Katrín Ómarsdóttir, Sara Björk Gunnarsdóttir og Dóra María Lárusdóttir
    Hægri kantur: Fanndís Friðriksdóttir
    Vinstri kantur: Hólmfríður Magnúsdóttir
    Framherji: Margrét Lára Viðarsdóttir

(Anyone for a EURO qualifier thread?)

Rosana is a attacking midifielder right? That's weird because Lyon was looking for another striker.......they only have Schelin as a tall, powerful striker in the squad....i thought they were looking for another striker of the same kind (Tonazzi....) don't think they really need another mdifielder.

All White Kit links to a report about Hingst perhaps, maybe, possibly ending up down under w/ the Newcastle Jets.

And the Aussie paper uses the ever popular "there are one or two other clubs" in competition for her.

... as well as "charismatic Australian striker Lisa De Vanna". Well, charismatic Hingst and charismatic De Vanna on the same team, that could be interesting. :D

    (Hingst? Australia?)

According to fansoccer.de, Vera Pauw has been replaced as national team coach of Russia by Farid Benstiti (ex-OL, now Rossiyanka's technical director). Pauw will focus more on the junior national teams.
