El Real Madrid C. F. y el R. C. D. Espanyol han llegado a un acuerdo para el traspaso del jugador José María Callejón, que quedará vinculado al club las próximas cinco temporadas.

As if one jose wasn't enough...welcome to Jose Callejon, a player i enjoyed a lot for Espanyol this season. :D

I don't have a problem with this signing, I was actually a bit miffed when we sold him to Espanyol because that season we really could've used a player with his skillset. For a squad player it's nice to have one of our own back in the fold, hopefully he won't be a "one and done" like Leon.

His gamesmanship is horrible though, he would make Di Maria blush and he gives Alves and Busquets a run for their money in that department as well and that is no easy feat :D

I think he's good enough for the role he will play. Barely used squad players should come from the cantera, rather than bought. ;)

this definitely spells the end of Pedro Leon. Well to be honest thats a no brainer seeing as Mourinho has had no time for him since their not so little tiff.
Callejon will, in my opinion, prove to be a usefull squal player who will provide Di Maria with some competition and allow for better rotation in that position without compromising too much on the shape and tactics of the team. Although his defensive nous and general work-rate does not compare to the three lunged Di Maria, his dribbling and overall attacking play is slightly below of not on par with Di Maria.
As a returning youth player, I have an almost biased, well it is biased, desire to see him succeed and I do wish him the best. Welcome back Callejon.
Just thinking back did he not have a brother who was sold at the same time as he?

^ I think its safe to say that Peter Lion, unfortunately, will be gone.

I think this is a good signing. We got a player who is from the cantera, willing to sit on the bench, and with decent ability (you know, for those 5 minute cameos he will be getting twice a season :p).

I gotta say though he isnt my favorite player. Hopefully he grows on me later on though. Welcome Jose!

I like him much more than our recent Faubert V2.0 signing.

Hopefully Pedro leon will kindly exit the club after this.

Decent player, very quick, constant diver.

Look out Di Maria, this one will show you how it's done.

Can't say i know a lot about this kid, in terms of seeing how he plays etc. Nevertheless welcome Jose and try not be a Leon V2 that would be a huge bonus lol.

Will be interesting seeing him in the Copa, welcome :)

Voted for the Never seen him play option, although i caught a few games of Espanyol this season. He can develop into a good player but that depends on playing time.

    Welcome home :).

    This.

Also, I doubt he will get more too many minutes off the bench.

I think he is part in the Aguero deal. He goes to Atletico + 30 M and we get Aguero. I simply don´t see any place for him in the squad. So same thing as with Negredo.

I'm glad he's back, I just hope he will get enough playtime.

    I highly doubt it.

When we signed Negredo back from Almeria, did RM.com post an official message saying he was signed and an article outlining his accomplishments in recent years?

It was 2 years ago so I don't really remember, but I think he was a quite signing, like he just randomly started appearing in the training news articles.
