Erikson has been quite good, and Lamela has some skill. None of them would really improve us though.

Erikson has not looked good, minus there first game.

Lamela is talented but looks lost.

Rooney should have received a red card for kicking the Cardiff defender. What a prick.
And the ref blew it by just showing him a yellow.

The pic with AVB as the captain of a sinking titanic is always a classic

they gave up more goals last season than the year before and less than what we conceded last year.

and Vermaelen made PFA team of the year his first year too.

    Vertonghen aint that good.

That isn't all on Vertonghen, not by a longshot. Look at who he's been playing with, not just today but over the past two years. YOUNES KABOUL FFS. I still think he's good.

As for Tottenham, well, maybe this teaches AVB to take concussions more seriously :p

The year before they conceded less with mostly the same group

I'm not saying Vertonghen is shit or that he isn't a good player, but I'd rather have Kos and BFG over dude. That's all I said.

Kos and Per are arguably the best pairing in the league right now, so no argument. But I would take Vertonghen over Vermaelen in a heartbeat

Sp*rs are absolutely hilarious. They have like 17 allegedly 'creative' midfielders in their team and they still don't get any clear opportunities to score from open play.

What was that about the masterful job Levy has done with playing staff?
