Careful now. One of my oldest and closest freinds is a fraternity brother and roommte who is 1) an international dog show judge 2) a language teacher and guru and 3) as gay as the day is long. He's so fleunt in French that, as he says, after he's there about 10 days his accent comes around and nobody can tell that he's not French. He's been to Montreal many times and says he can't understnd a word they say.
For the record, I didn't understand a word they said. Luckily after they are done speaking quebec to you they start speaking Canadian, and that I could understand.
