Not surprised, rumors about a departure have been circulating for the past decade and yet he never moves. He scored in today helping Juve reach the Coppa Italia final.
I figured as much. I saw him play in Toronto last summer against Sporting CP. He still has it and was the best player on the field.
Was there as well. Scored a nice goal.... Here's who we should get: Di Vaio or Olic or Ireland Seedorf Rosicky
I saw him in the game against Chievo, he certainly brought them to life but he was used as a late sub (played 12 minutes). This game he scored in the first half so I assume he started that one. His league stats up to March 11th were only 311 minutes played in 15 games, no goals, and no full games. See for yourself: http://sports.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/seri/players.asp?player=2329
Juve doesn't need him. no way they would re sign him. I know he said he wants to go to new york or L.A, but im sure because of saputo being italian, and ferrari and corradi, they can convince him to come here.
Very positive thing. I'd be all for being the destination of ex-Serie A players, be them int'l slots or DPs.

Captain of the team over the last two seasons, Pizzolitto concluded his career having played 291 regular season games, 248 as a starter, recording 11 goals and six assists over 23,030 minutes played. He was named Defensive Player of the Year for the Impact in 2005, 2008 and 2009, as well as a first team all-star in 2008 and a second team all-star in 2004, 2005 and 2006. http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/news/2012/03/nevio-pizzolitto-announces-his-retirement
Where is Nelson Rivas??? i know he is injured but when is he returning?? key defensive player that would help a lot
I can't find any timeframes, but: http://www.sportsnet.ca/soccer/2012/03/31/mls_montreal_impact_newyork_redbulls/ EDIT: I just asked Sportsnet reporter Nick Sabetti on Twitter about it. he stated: "Camara is day to day. No telling when Rivas will be back, could be a month, could be more."
They did sign Shavar Thomas, guess he beat him out during training camp. I don't even know what our strongest back line is at this point. Perhaps: Valentin-Ferrari-Rivas-Wahl?
Fucito traded for an international roster spot extention till 2013 (we already have one of Portland's international spots for 2012) or a second round superdraft pick. Not 100% sure about this trade.
Marco Di Vaio's agent said Marco would consider an offer from Montreal Federico Pastorello tells CSN's SoccerPlus that Marco Di Vaio could still join Montreal this summer, despite reports otherwise. Responding to news report out of Bologna, that Marco Di Vaio shut the door on a two-year $ 3.8 million offer from the Montreal Impact, the player's agent says there is still possibility that his client could end up in Canada after all. "I believe Marco is tired of seeing rumours sending him to North America. He's preoccupied to see Bologna avoid relegation and that's all that matters for him right now," Pastorello said in a phone conversation on Wednesday. Bologna has six games remaining in Serie A after defeating Cagliari 1-0 on Thursday (Di Vaio was left out of the lineup for this one). http://www.canadiansoccernews.com/content.php?3056-Di-Vaio-s-agent-says-client-might-still-go-to-MLS
Rivas appears in friendly as road back ramps up MONTREAL – Former Inter Milan center back Nelson Rivas, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the Montreal Impact’s preseason trip to Mexico, made his long-awaited comeback during a friendly at Centre Claude-Robillard on a windy Sunday afternoon. Rivas helped the Impact keep a clean sheet as they thrashed Dartmouth College 5-0 thanks to a double by Eduardo Sebrango and goals from Hassoun Camara, Josh Gardner and Evan James. The Colombian seemed comfortable through the 60 minutes he spent on the pitch, winning the vast majority of his duels and running at ease. Rivas’ passing was a bit off in the early going, but he improved as the game went on, cleaning up his distribution and showing his passing range. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/04/29/impacts-rivas-appears-friendly-road-back-ramps
