    CF Monterrey (CONCACAF / Mexico)
Auckland City FC (OFC / New Zealand)

Rumor is the CWC might be moved back to Abu Dhabi this year.

Will Monterrey be up to the task?

They should do well, barring any transfers to Europe.

FC Barcelona will represent Europe in Japan 2011.

PS: could someone add a [R] to the title?

Monterrey's reinforced their forward line by bringing Cesar Delgado back to Mexico. If they keep de Nigris, I'm pretty sure they're set up front for the Mundial.

So monterrey will likely play the Japanese champion and should they win, Santos. If they find their form they can win both games, but im not holding my breath.

Monterrey vs Kashiwa Reysol it is. They just Beat Auckland City 2-0.
I'm hoping Monterrey can beat them and go beyond the semis for once.

If Monterrey win, they'll play Santos in the semifinals.

Subs. Hopefully they won't disappoint like America, Pachu-casa, and Aclante.

Yes it's broadcasted Nationally here in TPI and MNC sports. So, expect many people witnessing los rayados in action. I will post pictures and comments from my local media once available.

You know I have been waiting to see events like this where I can see the Mexican teams on TV and not via Live streams where the connection sux bigtime because Indo is in the opposite side of the globe.

Anyway, pretty lame crowd yesterday. I dunno why because Kashiwa is the host and I'm expecting a strong support. Auckland put more pressure in the 2nd Half but the Nipon goalie had a few nice saves. Overall Meh game.

Wow I dunno where to start. I'm soo bummed we lost in the Penal.

Another year another disappointing run at CWC. At half time the Indonesian announcers were praising how good Monterrey was, how fluid, how attacking minded the team are! Guess what they don't mean jack shyt! We lost still.

We couldn't convert two golden chances in the first half. Then Orozco took the Penal and missed SMH.

Watching the replay, Monterrey was the better team the first half, they had very good chances, too bad they could not put them away.

Now for what I will call "the walk of shame game" vs the Tunis team.

I didn't see this game but can anyone tell me did the ref play a fair game or was he one sided?

The ref was OK. You gotta give the Japanese credit though. The goalie was the difference maker. We attacked numerous times and this Goalie made a few nice saves. Especially in the Penal he made the difference bigtime.

Orozco took the shot and hit the goal post. That was it!
