It's a nice interview, Allan did a great job with it even if he needs to be reminded that the A-League went out as their moniker about 4 years ago or so. They are USL One, USL Two and the PDL. It was a basic review of our future plans and really nothing that you haven't heard from me already...

Men's soccer ranked No. 20 in the nation in home attendance for 2008 season

VESTAL, N.Y.-- For the second year in a row, the Binghamton men's soccer team was ranked among the NCAA Division I leaders in terms of average home attendance. During the 2008 campaign, the squad averaged 1,115 fans per game, which was No. 20 in the nation.

"What a great accomplishment to be ranked in the top 20 for home attendance," head coach Paul Marco said. "The credit goes to the fans, parents and alumni for their support and a big thank you goes to all of the students who came out and were singing and chanting every game. We have one of the best--if not the best--facilities in the conference (the Bearcats Sports Complex) which has definitely helped us."

Binghamton had seven home games this past season, including an America East quarterfinal game against New Hampshire on Nov. 8. Against Vermont on Oct. 18, a sellout crowd of 2,534 fans watched the Bearcats beat defending America East champion Vermont 1-0. That game was also aired in the Binghamton area by Time Warner Sports.

In 2007, Binghamton ranked No. 21 in the nation with 1,299 fans per game. Included among the eight home dates, however, were both the America East semifinal and championship game which drew a combined total of over 3,000 fans.

Since the Bearcats Sports Complex opened in 2007, the men's soccer program has gone 14-1-0. This includes a perfect 12-0-0 mark in regular-season contests.

I think that the Pocono Snow (East Stroudsburg, PA) have invited us to come down and play, it would their reserve squad thougt...so unless another certain College team wants to make us a better offer...that would be our entire away schedule...lol

Thanks No: We definitely appreciate the warm welcome. We've got a lot of wonderful future plans in the years ahead including both having both YPSL and WPSL teams. But for right now, our business plan is nearing completion and we have the exhibitions for this spring/summer. Come January 2010 we should be officially approved as a NPSL expansion franchise. Please let me if you have questions or suggestions.
