So...I went into Gamestop to pick up something and the girl working at the counter was trying to get me to preorder something so she went through the list and when she reached FIFA 11, looked at me and said you don't look like the FIFA type... I just face palmed and left.
After watching some of the multiplayer trailers, it looks like I will be picking up COD Black-Ops after all. Anyone else buying the game, and if so PS3 or 360?

u never schooled me, i ALWAYS had a better score than u, the only time u pwned me was that lunging knife u did on me once u got fifa 11 yet? i'm ever harder to beat on that than fifa 10 hehe
Why not get a ps3? Most games today are cross platform, PS3 has free multiplayer, and is a decent blu-ray player. p.s I'm not a Sony fanboy
That's understood. I'm just curious as to why. I have never owned a PS2 or PS3 or any Playstation console for that matter. Does the PS3 have a friends list? If so, how many can you have? JW
100 friends. Added a couple of people from here but havent played them. Still waiting for Fifa 11 to get patched. Mid November is a long way off.
I just got a PS3, largely because it's a Blu-Ray player, too. I don't have internet at home right now, otherwise I'd try that out to see how it is. I'm currently playing Fallout: New Vegas. How's Fifa 11?

am i crazy that i considered getting my preordered black ops at midnight tonight? i recovered and will get it tomorrow.
I was considering it as well, but there is no big launch party like there was last year, and I'm in no mood to stand outside in the cold for hours on end (line started a few hours ago at the Gamestop I go to). If I were back in MD I'd have gone to the midnight release as you can show up at 10:30 PM, and there will be 20-30 people outside the store, opposed to having a few hundred outside by 5:00 PM. Ultimately its not waiting for a few hours in the cold that is keeping me away, but the fact that I am too lazy to head down to Union Square twice this week (need to pick up the Scott Pilgrim Blu-Ray at Best Buy tomorrow).
