MN stars FC Home opener today at the Dome. Fundraise the roof has sold 1,412 Tickets and who knows how many other tickets have been sold. A good showing for the "Championship Challenge" will definitely improve our chances of MLS.

If you're in Minnesota, the Twin Cities or the nearby Wisconsin state line . . . GO.

    Go to the game.

    Best of lucks Stars.

announced attendance was just under 9k. Not bad considering that half of the lower bowl was closed off as it was in baseball configuration. It's not a great venue for any sport, but in spite of that we made it a good time.

For nostalgic purposes it was fun to see the dome I remember it most fondly growing up. I've never cared for the vikings, but seeing it with the baggy in right brought back a lot of good twins memories. I was only 6 years old in 91, but I was there for game two when Hrbek pulled gant off first. That and the slimy dome hotdogs are way better than any others to me. The schweigert shit they serve at target field is no good at all.

Attendance 8,693. pretty good, hopefully some of that carries over the the rest of their season. Why the H*LL was it in baseball configuration?

I think the gophers have been playing there? only other thing I can think of is that it allows them to have it wider for the soccer game.

Because college baseball teams from around the country have been using the dome for years for early season scrimmages, practice, games.

    There's a reason it's convertible.

Not worth the time and money to change it for a game that is going to draw under 10,000. For one game to just to change it back.

attendance up in Blaine for last night's game, our first back in MN, was like 1650. weather was shit all day, but it was similar to last year. kinda hard to build fan momentum behind a team that plays two home games in the first two months of the season
