Are you ready for some football? All times EDT, and all games broadcast on MLS Live and Direct Kick unless otherwise noted.

    Friday 30 March

Dallas at DC United, 7:30, NBC Sports Network

    Saturday 31 March

Columbus at Toronto (all hail the Trillium Cup!), 2:00
    Montreal at New York, 4:00
    Vancouver at Philadelphia, 4:00
    Salt Lake at Portland, 10:00
    San Jose at Seattle, 10:00
New England at Los Angeles, NBC Sports Network

    Sunday 1 April

    Chicago at Colorado, 7:00, Galavision

As always, please keep it friendly here in the neutral PBP thread. Not sure I'll make it home from work in time for the early start time Friday here in PDT land.

I am onto you, Chivas USA! You may have beaten RSL last week, but I know it's all just a big scheme. And I'm not going to fall for it! I know you will disappoint me this week. The only question is how! How! That is the question! How will Chivas USA disappoint me this week?

Hmmm. Work my last day ever on earth. Win the Jackpot. Watch DCU get destroyed. God what a shitty day.

Don't care for the times of the games. Three afternoon games and no evening games? Then 3 late night games? Ugh.

(In reality, these things aren't bad. But I am soccer fan hence I must whine.)

The biggest problem is that the fans of six east coast teams will have little incentive to watch the late games. Then TV ratings will suffer and the MLS-critics will have a field day about how unpopular the league is.

The only thing you're guaranteed with Chivas USA is 90 minutes of dull, lifeless, soulless soccer, no matter the result.

First they insert Pete Vagenas into the lineup....

Now they add Simon Elliott to run scouting--with what contacts? New Zealand?

If people got carte blanche to blast Gary Smith for boring ball, then Robin Fraser deserves every bit of it, as well.

    11pm est.

Tonight's game has some good storylines. Can DC build on their solid showing v. Vancouver, or will they revert to their level of play from the first 2 games? How will the two U-23s that are likely to play - Shea and Kitchen - rebound from the massive disappointment earlier in the week? How will NBC deal with it all?

    Looking forward to it already!!

Hell, at least Smith had C + C Goal Factory to liven things up once the ball got into the attacking third. What does Chivas have?

Hopefully by Kennedy being off his game even a little bit. ;)

It will be interesting to see how Ryan Smith plays against his old team. I would imagine with Roger Espinoza chasing him down, he may not be enjoying himself much by the time the night is over...

I'm going to be disappointed tonight. There's no way the match-up tonight will live up to the best soccer game I've EVER seen that just ended 2 minutes ago.

Bosko on the bench is expected. But he better come in early in the second half.

Santos ... might as well just field ten players.

George John not starting and not even on the bench for Dallas according to MLS matchtracker, anyone know what happened to him?

Well they just commented on it on the broadcast - John suffered some kind of injury and didn't make the trip.

And as I type this, DC defensive breakdown between Kitchen and Dudar and Dallas should have scored but nice save by Willis.

Not a good way to watch and participate in the PBP thread, though. :)

What a start by Kitchen.

Ironically, about the same point in the game as last week's incident caught on mic, Cruz makes the "no f-ing way" comment right into the microphone.
