Last week we figured out how to get a midweek league game when the slot seemesd reserved for the US Open Cup. Seemed like a win-win. Except this week, when the USA celebrates Independence Day on Wednesday, who do we find hosting a game? A Canadian team! Makes little sense to me, but there it is.

All start times listed in EDT; all games broadcast on MLS Live and Direct Kick unless otherwise noted.

    Tuesday 3 July
    Chicago at Houston, 8:30
    San Jose at Portland, 10:30

    Wednesday 4 July
    Kansas City at Montreal, 7:00
    Toronto at Dallas, 9:00
    Vancouver at Colorado, 9:30
    Seattle at Salt Lake, 10:00
    Philly at Los Angeles, 10:30

    Saturday 7 July
    Houston at Kansas City, 8:00
    Portland at Salt Lake, 9:00
    San Jose at Dallas, 9:00
    Vancouver at Chivas USA, 10:30
    Colorado at Seattle, 11:00, NBCSN

    Sunday 8 July
Los Angeles at Chicago, 3:00, ESPN
    Toronto at Philadelphia, 4:00
New York at New England, 7:00, Galavision
    Columbus at Montreal, 7:30

As always, keep it friendly here in the neutral PBP thread.

I was going with the assumption that @Ismitje knew something we didn't...

The world is ending before the weekend.

Which is terrible because now we'll never know how Chivas USA would have disappointed me on Saturday.

This week becomes even more disappointing when you realize DCU already knew this and that is why they have the week off.

Houston are unbeaten at home in the last 15 games (including playoffs), but I have a feeling this may be our most stern test this year. Chicago is getting into their groove.

I'm supposed to be doing laundry right now. Oh well, I'll just put together some IKEA furniture while this match is on.

Am I the only one disappointed with the atmosphere in BBVA so far (not just today)? I was assured it would be top notch in the stadium porn thread.

Oduro just had an acute flashback of Oduroitis, also sometimes known as Barrettitis.

As I recall, the stadium was supposed to add 70 FrankelAngstroms on the modified Frankel-Hosschiedt scale for stadium atmosphere

I just realized this game was on, but I think I'll stick with watching my DVRed live Tour de

Under the original plan, cocain was to be added to the stadium's water supply. For whatever reason, that didn't work out, so we are left with what we see today .
