reentry draft stage 2-DeRo to TFC. Match made in heaven.

Espindola to DC. All of a sudden DC looks like a team to challenge for the East.

Challenge for the East? Nah...challenge for a playoff spot? Absolutely.

Fuc I don't know, I could see them competing for the top spot. I still think KC and NYRB are the 1-2 but Dynamo, MTL, and DC could fight with them for that spot. Who knows.

man they are stockpiling a lot of firepower-but that's on paper. I still am not sold on Benny Glass as a a manager.

Only when the season plays out will we know if Benny can handle it. Especially with the personalities of Espindola, EJ etc.

Sometimes with a new team (which DC is now after a marked makeover) has success early on because they have no tendencies established yet. As the season progresses, decent teams with good managers figure out ways to stop them and then bad results sart happening. Will the wheels fall off like they did in 2012 when they tailspinned down into the playoffs here in Houston?

EJ is a legit attacking threat. Fabian seems to have lost a step since moving to NY. Maybe being in a system that will allow him some freedom will help him find his magic. Maybe not.

Davy and Bobby will absolutely provid some leadership on and off the field and might be able to keep Eddie in line. Plus Davy is a heck of a midfielder who'll be good on setpieces and movement. Gives them 2 solid middies.

Their defense just got 1000x better (not that it's saying much...) but they still have holes back there and their wings are vulnerable (as of now) plus they're paper-thin.

Nope...not challenging for the top. I see them like the Crew or NE of this year...making some noise but not able to get over the hump yet.

Granted they've got 2.5 months to add players so they may fix these problems but right now...nope.

True. Likely to take a CB I imagine with the pick too.

So is Driver still with us or not? I thought I read something that said the Dynamo declined his option or released him or something...

They declined his option....that doesn't mean he is fine yet. They may get a new deal. I suspect his option price was way too high

Camilo Sanvezzo to Queratero acording to ESPN. It seems that he is just waiting on his work Visa. I hate to see MLS lose a great player like Camilo.

Driver still out there but nothing so far I guess they want him at a cheaper price.

I wish they would look at Oscar Ceren, but since we need a striker.
