MLS trade window opened today and TFC acquired Jackson from Dallas for cash. Also, Kenny Cooper will be in re-entry draft.

el OH el at the poor team that picks up Kenny Cooper. He is the most overrated target man in MLS.

    Justin Braun - $112,200 in 2013

    Braun and Bruin up top.

I'm not sure I'm prepared for that much unfulfilled expectation . :p

On a serious note--they are pretty similar in styles?

He played really well while he was with Chivas USA. Just really fell off when he went to Toronto.

I disagree, he is not over rated - just over paid. I would say if you paid him the same as Bruin / played as him at the same position as Bruin, you would get more value.

Kenny just needs a better coach, better team.

Agreed. But I want to point out Cooper isn't really a target forward despite his size. He likes the ball at his feet and tries to play small.

I always thought that Cooper plays like a speedy striker than a back to the goal type. Big guy who can't be knocked off the ball with the on-ball skills to create space and shots. Very similar to Bruin, but more commanding. I think it could work.

He's got pretty good hands for a striker.

"very similar to Bruin"-------uh except for stumbledore can't play like a speedy striker, is easily knocked off the ball and has no one on one skills to create neither space nor shots. other than that, well, they are both white I guess

I think I still like Bruin more than Cooper. And Bruin definitely gets shots, that was not his problem this year.

Actually, his stock really fell when he was with Montreal and RSL in 2012. I don't see him do any better than Weaver.
