Orlando City is stepping their game up. The supporters pretty much rule the South End at our temp venue, and we've gotten callback chants throughout the stadium at both home games thus far. This past Saturday's opening tifo. It actually worked a lot better than I thought it would. (Take that for what you will.) Both main groups were involved in the April Fool's Day joke. ILF is making a shirt to commemorate it. (Yes, you can actually order it at their website.)
glorious game footage as usual from @levyfilm http://www.sounderatheart.com/2014/4/8/5595882/in-the-18-sounders-at-portland-round-1
That's why I recycle plastic water bottles...so Portland and Seattle have something to play. Kidding around, but in all seriousness that match ended too soon. Easily one of the best in a long time. Great footage, thanks for sharing.
Of all the battles 1906 Ultras Fight... the one they are certainly winning is the battle against Caligraphy
He made it out to the game! https://twitter.com/cchacon0527/status/455583411013312513 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...79.77098.113851521975733&type=1&stream_ref=10
they had pep band in section so maybe they're trying to be like Seattle It's Pisa I think at this point he's just doing it to ******** with me and wear different colors cos I hate that lol @Theopisa
No Interisti around here, that was my Club Brugge shirt, just to spite BBBulldog... Next time I'll wear the Pisa one, which is almost identical, so he'll get even more confused...
so i have to ask why pisa? I lived in Volterra, near Pisa, for 15 years, go back all the time although most games i catch are Siena games. sei italiano?
Italianissimo. 100%. From Pisa, although I spent most of my life in Venice before coming to the US. But Pisa is obviously my very first team, being from there... I'm sure Siena games these days are better than Pisa games, but of course I wouldn't trade... )
I went one to Volterra during the summer to see a preseason friendly game, Volterrana - Pisa 0-5, I think it was 1988 or so... Pisa used to do the preseason in Volterra every year, back then
That is amazing...I remember when I began following MLS any tifo was a big deal and many MLS teams weren't doing any. It was mostly DC United. And this is the second division of soccer in the US and the attendances are impressive as are the supporter's groups. It's fantastic thinking how far things have come. And I only started following MLS in 2006. I'm surprised guys from 1996 or before aren't walking around with giant smiles on their faces all the time.
