I'll wait until the sale to a new owner to get really excited, I seem to remember the league saying that they were committed to keeping the Quakes in SJ right up until they all pulled their stakes and moved to Houston. Now I'm still optimistic and have been the one making the whole "Garber WANTS two teams in LA" argument, but the fact that the league is taking over the team and there isn't already a new owner makes me nervous.
Maybe our owner is he one, since he already lives in LA and could care less about the Chicago Fire. Dollar Menu buys CD Chivas and league takes over the FIRE and finds them a owner.

I live in LA and I don't support either LA club at the moment. But if Chivas aka Los Angeles FC moves to DTLA I will become a supporter and a season ticket holder. I've been wanting to support one of the LA clubs for awhile. Carson is just too far away. But A club in DTLA is a 20 min ride on the metro from Culver City. I think a DTLA club will get massive support.

Genuinely hope you stay and genuinely hope you are successful. I love the rivalry and as much as I poke fun, it was always better when both teams were competing with each other, as rare as that was (and that includes when you were decent and we sucked under Yallop and Gullit). Best of luck.

would be nice to have a team that actually plays in Los Angeles. Not that I was a big hard on about it before. Downtown Los Angeles has been upgraded since the Staples Center opened. And there are still more projects in the works. I like it. Carson is a dump. The HDC is a nice stadium with incompetent staff, located on the campus of a state school that is basically a community college. Good times for all.
