You can go jump in a fire :p... the Eagles have won three NFL Championships which are just as good as Super Bowls. You think you can just rename your championship and act like everything that was won before the merger doesn't count. I don't think so. Homie don't play that!

Interesting, memorable game due to the weather and overtime. Good soccer and a showcase for MLS. Not so much...

Sure, the weather played a part in the quality of the soccer, but a large part was the aggressive nature of both teams which led to a lot of fouling in the first half. I would have liked to see the official step in and show a few yellow cards to calm everyone down, but this is the MLS.

Major props to KC and RSL fans to attend the game and for the players who played hard throughout the game. Both goals were well taken.

I am a Giants fan, and I count DIVISIONAL titles. Any championship is a championship...

Agreed but only in the NFL and MLB. I don't do this in soccer, hockey or basketball. At least as far as conference and division titles are concerned.

Then you would've liked another ref entirely. Grajeda even called the All-Star game the same way.

Despite all the complaints about "I Believe" The Cauldron, in continuous voice for nearly 3 hours probably did over 20 different chants or songs. They always do Wiz, Wizards, and Sporting chants. They do have some team-specific traditional chants that any Sporting fan recognizes instantly in the background that goes missing by all those straining to hear, then complain about, the odd generic chant - which, by the way, tends to get picked up by the entire stadium creating the atmosphere

Just stop tagging me. It's annoying. I read these threads. Thanks, by the way.

Being at the 6 yard mark it looked like Nielsen was gesturing towards the bench as Collin was walking up to take the 10th as if Nielsen was upset that it wasn't him that was going to take that kick. I don't know if that came out on TV.
And Kansas City is now winless in two Cup finals played at Sporting Park, and needed a Golden Goal to win the only one they played at Arrowhead. ;)
In the great 2000 season they lost on PKs away to the amateur Chicago ???? Sockers? after 120 minutes of scoreless action. They repeated the feet at Qwest Stadium in 2008 in the USOC Semis against USL1 Sounders.

I'd forgotten the Quest game. So since those first two losses, KC is 3-0 beating CO in a USOC qualifier, Seattle in the USOC, and and now MLS Cup

Some people might call them "gators" but they should call them gaiters. Specifically neck gaiters.

For me a "gator" is an animal and a "gaiter" is an article of clothing worn on the lower leg to keep snow or mud from getting into your boots. I'll stick with "snood" or "neck warmer".
